I'm clueless about the tunnels.
There are connecting tunnels to several buildings in bethel. You can go to several buildings without ever going outside. It's pretty cool actually, they go under the streets and sidewalks.I was all over that place years ago.
I wonder if the tunnels make hanky-panky more convenient for the GB and their underlings?
Boy. I'd like to think that this is more evidence of their demise. But...that may be a little too much to ask for.

I hope this link works - it's a poor clip but has pics of the tunnels for you! Is the residential block shown in the film the Standish Arms? (It looks like a fairly old film clip)
It reminds me the German subsidiary of the company I used to work for apparently had a tunnel linking their building to the brothel next door
