Mystep mom would/does get us a card on our birthday. If she can't find something that just says "have a nice day" there is usually a word crossed out - "Happy Birthday" lol She gives us little presents etc. My dad would always talk about the day I was born, the day they brought me home from the hospital etc. It was always the same stories, but now that he's gone, I miss it.
