Recently, I was fascinated with the invention of the incubus (and succubus) and curious about their origins.
Lilith stories are interesting, both from a feminist and historical perspective and simply for their titillating sexual content; they are also somewhat horrifying.
There is a somewhat new anime out based on the ancient Lilith concept. I believe it is called Lilim Kiss.
I quite enjoy the story of Lilith as Adam's first wife (after all the other demonizing stuff about her, near the end here):

BTW, Anne McCaffrey will be at DragonCon this year (in Atlanta). I think this is the largest fantasy con in the southeast. It will be Aug. 31 to Sept. 3 this year:

She shows up in a lot of anime in some form. Evangelon in fact she is the second angel. I got a pic of her somewhere.
There it is, in the final part she takes her true form which is a giant Rei (see below) Technicaly Rei is a clone of lilith with her soul held in it.
