Nicolaou, I love Cadbury chocolate! At least you get more time off from work than we do here in the U.S.

    Pob,
Rest assured, Posh has been deported out of England and is taking up exile in LA with all of the other plastic looking celebrities. :-(
I do like the reports that she likes David's money too much to let him join Scientology. :-)

    Things I Love:

    Rolling countryside
    Country pubs
    The weather
A sense of history around me
    Our coastline
    The BBC
Our foresight to export religious fanatics in the 1600's
    Our sense of humor
    Our diversity
The sympathetic mixture of modern and historic architecture
Waves and seagulls football crowds and church bells (got that one from Joe Jackson)

    Things I do not like:

    60's architecture
Mass immigration (this needs more explanation)
    Class systems leading to:
1.Celebration of commonness - Chavs etc.
2.Snobby elite – wasters who have no purpose in life, obvious example The Royal Family.
    Gutter press.
Our unbalance negativity and euphoria regarding our national sports teams.

I was born there too ,and I'm sure I've got a castle somewhere like all the other poms that came here too.

My parents said you hav'nt seen green till you've been to the English countryside but I've never been back but it sounds lovely. And the pork pies are supposed to be the best, my father would.nt eat one unless it came in a tin from home!

It's funny how the poms are like New Zealanders living here - they whinge about this place but hardly any go home.

    PS:

I think the only poms that go back home are the ones that come out here to learn how to play cricket and take their little urn of wood ashes back.
