Isn't Pat Robertson same jerk that was going to die if his followers didn't raise a specific amount of money before a certain date? Or am I thinking about another so-called prophet?

It might have been Oral Roberts -- remember when good old Oral visionated a "Jesus image" that was exactly 777ft tall? He then said it instructed him to build a 777ft tall "faith skyscraper" at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. LOL.

One toke over the line, Sweet Jesus?

    That was a different person,

I wish God would tell him the next 6 numbers of the lotto so he can get off the air and stop asking for money and turning people off from God and the real Good News, which is, Christ died for us; thank God.

Another brillant piece of idiocy from Robertson. How anyone can keep sending this guy money to keep him on the air is a sad testament to the gullibility of humankind.

His prophecies are so inane - W. was going to win by a landslide. It was far from that. W. would appoint conservative judges to the Supreme Court - ah, obvious!
The tsunami was a joke, but he claimed the rains here in New England last spring were the severe weather he prophesied. Imagine saying that there will be severe weather here in the US in 2007? What are the chances of that?? What a jerk.

This new prophesy is a lot more specific. When it doesn't happen he'll probably claim he prayed to God and interceeded for us.

This guy is a disgrace. He should just close up shop and disappear.

A prominent religious leader in the United States declared, "You've got to kill the terrorists before the killing stops."
His solution? "Blow them all away in the name of the Lord."

Considering the WT now quotes Jerry Falwell, and once went to court to support Jimmy Swaggart, anything is possible.
Pat Robertson is just jumpin' along for the ride.

    Woopdeedoo...

Since 9/11 everyone has suspected its only a matter of time before there is another major terrorist attack on the US. Even the Pentagon admits it.

But God told Pat that it's going to be this year.....ho hum.

    Millions would be affected

What a tool. In our high speed, all news all the time world, millions were affected when Tom Cruise jumped on a couch, William Hung became a non-singer, and Britney Spears wore her Hanes her way. This guy must really be hurting for money.

Pat Robertson is living proof that people will always need some kind of false prophet and they will continue to listen even if the prophecy is 100% wrong. We are living in the information age and you wouldn't think it so. The witnesses have 130 years of false prophecy and are still going strong. Some fools are so lost, you could sell them magic beans. There will always be a great market for hope. Too bad there isn't a great market for common sense.
