Your everday rank and file JW can get DFd for joining any political or religious group (even if it's only to use the gym for exercise)...but bigwigs in the leadership of the religion can affliate themselves with the Image of the Wild Beast (the UN) and then when caught just quit without any punishment or sanctions.
