almost 50% have responded and sent in the coupon on back for a Bible study!!!

    WHATEVER!!!!

Since when have they told anyone "the truth"?? If that is the case, then 50% of "worldly people we know who recieved the tract should have told us they turned theirs in for a Bible study as well! I have shared with my trainer my exit from the Watchtower. (He is very active in his church in our small comunity. Over 7,000 attend his church every week. They have to split up their service because there are so many attending..) Anyway..

When I learned of the tract coming out, I told him what the JWs hoped it would trigger off..that being a attack on them. He rolled his eyes and said.. "Let me fill you in on a little secret, when the members of our church recieve any literature from the JWs, we just throw it in the trash. Most people don't even look at it!"

    Sincerely,

    Lady Liberty

*Initially 40 million were printed for US............. 1 million pub in the us equals times 50 each equals 50 millions

*370 million worldwide........... What about 6.5 billion on earth Don't they deserve a warning?

well if 50% wanted to study........... that's 185 million studies

Who ever gave those stats must have been high on some good stuff.

Well if they said it then it must be true....he,he,he

    Here's how it probably went.

*It took 27 seconds to come up with this stupid campaign
*Initially 6 billion was planned, but after reviewing how uterly moronic it was, only 40 million were printed for US
*1 day after campaign began, the Society received 680 calls asking "what the f**k is this nonsense".
*22 million more English tracts were printed to replace the 40 million that were immediately tossed in the trash.
*12 million in other languages was suggested, but 3700 were actually printed
*85 million total printed in US alone as if this actually means something....kind of like printing a gazillion dollars of monopoly money and exclaiming that you are the richest person on the earth.
*370 million worldwide is the number of people who were alive when the FDS was directing Rutherford to proclaim the end of the world was coming in 1925.

    What a bunch of buffoons!

Now...THAT would make much more sense!

First of all, the numbers don't add up. 40 million + 22 million + 12 million equals 74 million, not 85 million, but assuming there's a reasonable explanation for that, let's look at these numbers and claims a little closer shall we....sniff...sniff...I do believe I smell some bull caca.

85 million and 50% of them have been returned requesting bible studies? Hmmmm, let's see if this is mirrored in next year's report. There should be an increase of at least 42.5 million bible studies. Unless of course "god's organization" isn't properly equipped to handle the work that god has assigned it.

Now, according to the 2006 service report, the number of bible studies in the USA was around 531,075. So, if we take that number for this year and add to it the 42,500,000 from their latest campaign, we should see somewhere around 43,031,075 bible studies next year. That would be a statistical increase of 8000 percent. WOW! I guess that would have to be considered a success. Unfortuneately we have to wait until next year to see...

*Following the campaign we did for the District Convention, 12% of all people who received that tract responded by sending in coupon on back. BUT....following the KN 37 campaign we just did, almost 50% have responded and sent in the coupon on back for a Bible study!!!

I've just got one word for this guy.

    LIAR!

There is no way in the history of this organization that they have ever gotten .5% return on the coupons, let alone 50%. And as far as 680 calls for more tracts on the first day - give me a flippin' break. We were always wondering if we would get the work done by the last day - with the tracts they had sent us. This guy is just makin' it up as he goes.

Yeah....I have to agree....the numbers do NOT add up, AND the guy is a liar! It doesn't even SOUND realistic!

Gee.....if yer gonna make up stats----at least make'em somewhat believable, ya think? Sumbuddy might get suspicious!

Can you just SEE all the JWs wettin' their pants and clappin' their happified hands reading this?

I have been banned from the board I took this from (and NO I didn't use profanity or send links to porn sites!) but a nasty JW got POed at me when I dissed the stupid WTS teaching that Jesus came and selected THEM as his personally favorite group to represent him in 1918, despite the fact they were celebrating Christmas and using tobacco......when she could not answer this (and a couple of other simple questions about the WTS teachings)

...so she TOS'd me to AOL because I was not "fellowshipping" properly with the other JWs on the JW board. (HAHAHA!) But I got a few "good ones" in before I got booted....

(oh....the injustices of being out of the club where the elite meet five meetings a week....)

    hugs,

    Annie
