I wouldn't have still been a jw without the internet, but I wouldn't have exited as quickly as I did. It was being able to research a religion that I'd spent over half my life in, and confirm the doubts I had been having, that helped me decide to da. It was coming to this board just over a year ago that showed me the support that was available if I did leave that helped me find the courage to write that letter. In the last year or so, I have found so much out about the wts that has confirmed my decision to leave was a correct one, and most of that information has been from the internet.
