That's pretty funny. Marilyn has a granddaughter named Carlie.
My daughter's best friend's dog is named Rachel. I find it very annoying but plan to name our next hermit crab Nicole after the friend.

Good Girl or Bad Girl?
Congrats on the name; I read this whole thread and think it's adorable and very ladylike/classy.
I just want to point out, even though it's basically a moot point, that Billie can be a very classy name for a lady, as in Billie Holiday. In fact I think Billie Holiday would be a great doggie name.

I know Lady is an often used name for female dogs, but in my experience with the bread of dog you have the name Lady really fits and it sorta is in honor of Marilyn the other dear sweet lady! OK so that's a stretch......and my .02.
