Reading the entire chapter 4 of Proverbs makes it quite clear this has nothing to do with doctrine, but is about righteous living.
John 16:13 is another scripture used to show progressive truth.
“ 13 However, when that one arrives, the spirit of the truth, he will guide YOU into all the truth , for he will not speak of his own impulse, but what things he hears he will speak, and he will declare to YOU the things coming .”
Knowledge may grow, however it would always be truth, therefore no wrong teachings, changing doctrine etc as has happened constantly through the Watchtower history. Also truth would be revealed before the things "coming". Watchtower prophetic interpretation is always after the event. Every date discussed before the event was wrong and so subsequently changed.
