The 2006 “Deliverance at Hand!” District Conventions to begin in the U.S.

Jehovah's Witnesses are inviting the public to attend their 2006 "Deliverance at Hand!" conventions, which will be held worldwide. This series of three-day events will begin in the United States on May 26, 2006, and will continue through early September. There will be 266 conventions in 73 cities in the contiguous United States. The sessions promise something of vital interest to all who attend. Find the date and location of the "Deliverance at Hand!" convention nearest you.

Well, Honesty, if you have that notated on the territory card and have a reputation...I have no doubt they skipped over your house.

I haven't actually seen it but a fading jw told me it's there and I have no reason to doubt. Especially due to the manner of my escape from the organization which probably helped me have such a fine reputation.

The dc for this area was about 3 weeks ago, and we didn't get an invitation, although there was one pushed through each of the other 5 flats in our block. They have obviously taken note of our instruction not to be contacted.

I can guarantee you were purposely passed over. My husband and I had a kick out of standing in our picture window and watching the jw's canvass our neighborhood and walk pass our house with averted eyes and lowered heads. And these were people that were involved in our wedding, took trips with us, and would come over and eat our food.

JH, do you live in the US. It is illegal to put something inside someone's mailbox. You can complain about this. My Church distributes literature and it has to be either (mailed with a stamp) or placed at the door or it can be hung on the mailbox flag in a plastic bag. You cannot open another persons mailbox and put something in it. I believe it is a federal offense.
