What kind of house would you like to have?

  This is the house my mother grew up in, in Red Bluff, CA. Her grandfather was the mayor and they all lived there. It still exists, but I was told the turret had to be removed a few years ago.

  We're getting my two dream homes; during the working week we'll be in a small apartment in town in a hotel. On the weekends we're building a little poured earth cottage that will be all solar passive and efficient. To make it perfect I'd move it closer to UncleBruce's place; he's on the best land in the country, but that would cost another few lifetime's savings. So the highland tundra it is for us!
