I'm so sorry this happend Lola. I'm angry just reading about it! You're lucky you have such an understanding boss because some may have been mad and give you a warning about bringing your personal life into the workplace! What are you gonna do? you think you'll be able to keep this up?

Absolutely disgraceful. They KNEW you were at work, and they MUST have known when you'd be leaving and roughly what time you'd be home.

Maybe you should choose a time when THEY are at work to futher discuss the matter/respond to their visit. Perhaps follow them when they're preaching at doors, and interrupt when THEY are 'busy' with a householder. They've already given a super witness at your workplace, you would only be returning the favour.

I didn't get to read all the responses yet, but I want to get this in, in case no one mentions it like I say.

Ask your boss if ...when he is not around, if these guys show up again ANYWHERE on the property, if he minds that you call the cops and have them arrested for harassment.

This is terrible lola, I've been following your progress because I'm also trying to fade and wondering if it would just be better to get it over with and DA myself.

I have never heard elders act this badly, and I'm only grateful your boss was supportive of you. If that happened in my workplace, it might put my job in jeopardy.

I suppose you have to think if you want to carry on trying to fade, in which case you have to be careful what you say in your email, or just get it over with.

Lola, don't let them abuse you. They can only do what you allow them to do. They were way off base coming to your job like that! You are fortunate to have such an understanding boss. They purposely did that, and they knew that they were intimidating you! I don't know what to say... but, I do know this, don't ever let them treat you that way again!

Letter of Dissocation. I will come out and hand deliver it to the bastards personally along with a can of Texas size "whoop ass".

If you walked into the emergency room complaining to me about a large boil and how painful it was what would be your expection? For me to alleviate the pain and treat the infection... right? Right! I would explain to you how I was going to provide you with immediate pain relief by lancing the boil with a scalpel, thereby, relieving the pressure and the pain disappears instantly. I would explain to you that there would be some discomfort because injecting the boil with lidocaine would only increase the pressure and make the pain MUCH worse before the anesthetic took effect. You would, as all patients do, agree to the procedure because the pain associated with the boil is beyond the point of tolerance. I take the scalpel, create an incision, and presto the PAIN IS HISTORY. Write a Rx for an antibiotic and you are on your way to recovery.

The infection, pain and pressure is the WTS. The scalpel is the Letter of Dissociation. The antibiotic to clean up what is left over... that would be where you are at this very moment... this board... this and many other threads... the people here.

Do you want Dr. OT to fix this or not? It's all up to you.

Do you suppose this is a new strategy that's coming from Brooklyn? Harass you until you disassociate? How would that benefit them? It is very strange. In any case, I'd like to add my expressions of sympathy to all the others. It must have been a harrowing experience.

This is not a new technique! The elders at at least 3 or 4 KHs in my old area do that. The first person that I know had this happen was my best friend in the fall of 1995!! She worked in a mall store, by herself or with the owner and these jerks would show up in pairs and harrass the hell out of her on an off, even in front of customers and have the balls to ask her to step outside the store!! They are in suits, look legal (or dorky, depending on the suit) and freaked out her repeat customers. Finally, she got so pissed off she told them what they wanted to hear and they DFd her in short order. These elders drove out of their "territory" and paid for parking just to harrass her. They also staked out her apt she shared with another JDUB (READ: naive, gullible JDUB) so she had to sneak in like a criminal on the run. SOOOO Sorry this happen to you -- Just don't let them set you off if you don't want to be DFd. DA yourself and keep your power or play their game only better!!!
