I don't answer my door and we have been fading for 3 years.

Almost there--tomorrow evening!!! We found an invitation in our door, but didn't hear a knock. I've also seen several witnesses at work and at my parent's' house, and not a word about Memorial!

I have a wonderful church family (Methodist) and a great faith in a loving God.
Is it not possible for you to say something like, "Well, you know, we're Methodists and we celebrate this event a little differently. But thanks anyway!"
