I'm so excited , I'm almost giddy . Wow ,Ray has a lot to say, these books are thick ! Which one should I start with or does it matter ?

Crisis of Conscience! That's the classic. The other is good too, but you gotta get Crisis under your belt.

Grab a beer, you don't wanna hit it all totally sober!

    Hi guys

Which website did you use to order? Have just searched Amazon.co.uk and couldn't find them. Have written down all the ones listed from the other thread (why are they called threads - not a teckie) and want to get them before I spend my money on drunken frivolity !

I had to order the books from a local store and then pick them up. It is so strange that something as simple as a book could make me feel so nervous. I found myself saying "i can't believe it has come to this point, I'm affraid to own a book".

I would start with Crisis of Conscience first then Christian Freedom.

The first ex-JW book I read was Barbara Harrison Grizzuti's 20 years before I finally left. I checked it out from the library worried that someone might see me with it or see my library file.

Take your time, savor the information. Don't be afraid to mark the parts you might want to remember and share with us, your impressions.

Reading this thread reminded me of my own excitement when ordering my copies.

I also remembered this thread. Funny. It was a year ago today that Goldminer started this thread:

It's got some fun experiences of people's fear associated with ordering the book(s).

Amazing how fearful many of us were about ordering a book. And most of us are adults!
