Hey guys the elders just called me! Haven't set foot in a kingdum hall in like... 4 years maybe 5 and then just for memorial! Walking in made me physically NAUSIOUS and I left ASAP! Anyway [edit name & congregation: invasion of privacy] just called said he had... Some other dipshit on line 2 and they wanted to ask me a question a said OK go ahead your dime. He says we want to get together and talk I laughed (rudely) and said "I'm sure you do, it's not going to happen though!"

He says "Well were going to be having a meeting at the hall Sunday at 3 if you want to come by and give your side of the story..." (story? What story?)

I just said "Umm No I'll not be there have fun playing without me" and hung up!

Now I'm eaten up with curiosity! It's been years since they've bothered me! I thought they had learned!? I love to screw with people (tell them I didn't do it, it was my evil twin. Pretend to not have any memory of being a witness etc etc etc...) this time I just laughed and left but now I'm wishing I had asked at least what story?

I recently got my wife to leave and last time [edit name: invasion of privacy] came by she ordered him off the property. So I know they've been looking to get back at me for that!.. LOL It's too bad because Txx is a great guy and at one time got involved in apostate literature and got out only to go back in years later. (dude wtf???) But now I'm really really curious! Inquiring minds want to know! I don't care if they df me or whatever I mean it's there game let them play it it won't affect me in the slightest but I should at least know what I did right? Where's the fun in this!!!!!!!

Maybe I should buy him a Christmas present and take it to the hall sunday?

I think I would if it wasn't christmas! I'm not ruining my wifes first out christmas with these nobs. I don't know what it's about and I don't really care! I just hate to miss what might be my chance to yank their chains!

I'm thinking that w/ 2 elders on the phone that they hoped you'd say "Oh wait that's Christmas and we have plans" They were looking for some slip-up. Maybe you should just stop by and hand out candy canes to all the kids!

My husband and I haven't been to a hall in over 10 years. A couple weeks ago, my in-laws started trying to get us to meet with the elders. We told them that wasn't going to happen. Since then, I've been hearing that there is going to be a "cleansing". Supposedly, elders are going to be running around, spying on people to see if they are apostates and then disfellowshipping them. Don't these losers have anything better to do? I wonder if this is a local thing (I'm in central Florida) or some "new light"? I’ve been labeled as a big, bad, evil apostate because I had the audacity to put up a Christmas tree. My decorations have apparently offended every JW in town. My father-in-law said that my Christmas lights were a "direct challenge to Jehovah God".

If you dont go you will be d/a for not going regardless of what sin you committed. So if you want to play with them you have nothing to loose. In fact you may be able to get out of it by going and denying everything, then say you are no longer recognised as a JW and encourage them not to make trouble.

There is a lot of hunting down people at the moment. How long since your wife left? It used to be that if you were not seen for a year they left you alone. I wonder if there is a special directive at the moment to sort everyone out.
