You can be disfellowshipped for just about anything......if it becomes gross and habitual enough.
Many do not realise that many Non- DFing offences can BECOME DFing offences.
For instance. Cussing is not a DFing offence. .....but!....If a brother were to become a gross habitual cusser after repeated council...he could be DFed for lack of appreciation for council, conduct unbecoming a christian, bad example to others who brings reproach on the Organisation, etc.
Ricky racing: If a brother squeels his tires, gets in races, continually breaks the speed limit, and shows no regard for council given him to stop it.....he too can be disfellowshipped for a rebellious spirit if it becomes hardened enough. So.....spanking the monkey(loping the mule) can also become a DFing offence if it becomes gross and habitual enough. I'd assume they would play more on the "gross nature".... rather than the habituality of it.
