"Heart harmony" is one of the most eyebrow-rasing phrases I've heard in a while.
They brought that out at my KM School as well, saying "heart harmony, not intelectual harmony."

Sooo... it does not have to make sense, and it's supposed to move me emotionally?? Is that what they are saying?

Satan is trying to disgrace Jehovah & his organization

I think the Governing Body is doing a pretty good job disgracing the Organization themselves without Satan de Debbil's help. All in all, do I detect a note of panic in these discourses that they're babbling on about in Elder School? I think they know that their house of cards is wobbling but they're determined to try and make it appear that everything's a-okay at the top. They must realize that their credibility is going straight down the toilet.....do they really think they're going to come out smelling like a rose?

    3) We rarely hear about money at the Kingdom Hall [???] So in a spirit of love, be generous with your valuable things"

What do they mean "Be generous with your valuable things" NOT Money surely! It must be "The spirit of love toward one another" After all...money is not what we should trive for. We don't need no stinken donation box.

Hebrews 13 is talking about the EXACT same leaders that Romans 13 is talking about.

HEART HARMONY IN THE WTS PUBLICATIONS 1950 TO 2004 (per CD)

    ***

    w99 11/1 p. 11 How Much Do You Love God’s Word? ***

Some Bible scholars suggest that Hezekiah was the writer of the psalm. While this is not certain, we do know that Hezekiah had great respect for God’s Word. By his life course, he showed that he was in heart harmony with the words at Psalm 119:97

    ***

w80 3/1 pp. 20-21 The Right Route Needs to Be Selected Now ***

What if Baruch kept on seeking selfish things? Could he then have any heart harmony with the message that he was being used to write down and to proclaim? No! Some sort of break between him and Jehovah’s prophet Jeremiah would certainly follow. If Baruch wanted to keep in heart harmony with Jeremiah and his message, then he would have to stifle selfish ambition.

    ***

    w79 12/1 p. 4 The Peace on Which World Unity Hinges ***

From the statement in this psalm and from many other scriptures, we can see that, for the nations to gain world peace, they must first make peace with God. For peace, the prime essential is heart harmony and unity with the Creator and Sovereign. He knows what is necessary for the contentment and happiness of those whom he has created.

    ***

    w72 5/1 p. 278 Why Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Call on You Repeatedly? ***

In serving as watchman, Ezekiel, though he was commanded to speak God’s message, could not serve Jehovah God properly unless he was in heart harmony with his work, unless he expressed in his ministry the spirit of what he had to say.

    *** w68 6/15 p. 359 A Man Whose Heart Was Upright ***

Well, then, where do you stand? Is your heart upright toward God, as was Jehonadab’s? Remember, Jehonadab actually got into the chariot and rode with Jehu. He thereby publicly declared his support for the righteous executional work in which Jehu was engaged. Are you similarly in heart harmony with the executional work of Jesus Christ? Have you publicly declared that support?

    *** w59 1/15 p. 63 Questions from Readers ***

God knew that there were lovable persons, or persons who could become lovable, in this world of people. He, with his discerning eyes, knew that there were individuals who by birth were a part of this world of people but who were really not in heart harmony with the "sin of the world" and who desired to get free from the condemnation that was due to the "sin of the world." (John 1:29) Hence God did not send his Son into this world of people to pronounce a blanket condemnation of this entire world of people, an indiscriminate condemnation of every member of this world of people without first an opportunity to show how individuals felt about the world’s condemnable sin and sinfulness. So God sent his Son into the world of people, "for the world to be saved through him."

    *** w57 8/15 p. 508 Part 4: Rounding the World with the Vice President ***

" The vice-president’s talk followed this and encouraged them to abide in Jehovah’s New World society in heart harmony with His purposes.

    *** w53 11/1 p. 669 Loyalty to Theocratic Organization ***

The word "theocratic" means that which is according to God’s rule or law. "Loyalty" means faithfulness in love and duty, faithfulness to one’s obligations. Loyalty to theocratic organization, therefore, means to be in heart harmony with God’s arrangements.

    *** w52 9/15 p. 565 Loyalty the Test ***

THE word "loyalty" does not appear in the King James or the American Standard Version. Yet there are many words in the Bible that have exactly the same meaning. It is used at Deuteronomy 13:4, Moffatt’s translation, rendering it from the Hebrew dabáq, which means "to cling or adhere, to cleave, to stick". It is a French word from the Latin legalis, meaning "lawful", the old French being loial, hence our English word "loyal", from the root "law". The accepted usage of the word is faithful in love or duty, being true to one’s word, or of one who in times of revolt remains faithful to his allegiance. It means that which is done in strict conformity with the law of God. A loyal person is one who is dependable, not negligent, faithful in the performance of duty, and in heart harmony with God’s arrangements.

    *** w50 9/15 pp. 308-309 Turning to the Peoples a Pure Language ***

Jehovah God gave us the one original Bible. But despite this the hundreds of religious sects of Christendom are not speaking the "pure language" or calling upon Jehovah’s name and peacefully serving him in heart harmony. All together, these religionists have no harmonious message based on the Bible. Why? Because they place religious traditions, worldly philosophy and party loyalties above the pure, simple Word of God. They scorn the name of Jehovah God, they split over political and national issues and even fight violent wars of bloodshed and costly destruction, Catholic against Catholic and Protestant against Protestant. Their methods, purposes and hopes are all of the old world, and their language is of the old world.

    *** g71 4/22 p. 29 What Should You Do? ***

You are therefore faced with a choice. Will you prefer and seek to find your happiness in the present system that men have developed and that—to put it bluntly—is making a mess of the earth? Or will you show that you are not in heart harmony with this selfish system, that you sincerely want to do what will bring honor and praise to earth’s Grand Creator? Will you put your trust in human technology and governmental programs to solve the problem, or will you look to the all-wise Sovereign of the universe, Jehovah God, and to his kingdom by Christ Jesus?

    *** it-1 p. 10 Aaron ***

All the sons of Levi responded, and this undoubtedly included Aaron. Three thousand idolaters, probably the prime movers of the rebellion, were slain by them. (Ex 32:28) Nevertheless, Moses later reminded the rest of the people that they, too, bore guilt. (Ex 32:30) Aaron, therefore, was not alone in receiving God’s mercy. His subsequent actions indicated that he was not in heart harmony with the idolatrous movement but simply gave in to the pressure of the rebels. (Ex 32:35) Jehovah showed that Aaron had received his forgiveness by maintaining as valid Aaron’s appointment to become high priest.—Ex 40:12, 13.

Thanks, Blondie. I still have no idea what "heart harmony" is supposed to mean. Would not all "good" people on earth be in "heart harmony" with what Jesus taught, and therefore be spared at Armageddon?

Why should we trust them when the elders come to make a "welcoming visit' after relocating and say this:

"We have to see your publisher cards, YOU might be pedophiles".

A person who is spirit appointed would NEVER say that to life long faithful JW's who have relocated.

    Heart Harmony = good intentions...

Great! If that works for the "FDS", it works for us too, right? We saw the hypocrisy and abuse that the WTS was dishing out in gods name and pointed it out so as to be in 'heart harmony' with the scripture directing us to "examine our faith and prove what is true and what is false."

That means that they agree with us pointing out all their flaws and they will be glad to change their ways and shepherd the flock with love, rescinding the unscriptural procedure of disfellowshipping, ban on blood, flip-flopping on doctrine, robbing children of their inheritance, covering up child abuse and just mainly being abusive pricks!

Right? Wonderful!! I'm so happy that is.... Oh, wait... This just in...

or am I keeping my eye simple and focusing on doing God's will?"

It still amazes me the psychological connections that the WBTS successfully programmed into the brain with relation to the concept of "keeping a simple eye", for example.

It means something different to those who were in than it does to one who was not.
