Thanks startingover. It's been a hell of a week. And this thread kicked up some crap for me. I'm glad to read it though. It gives me yet another opportunity to heal a little more and move forward.

Good one Tijkimo,
still no demonstrations of j.c's??
I would love to see them demonstrate for the Elders at Elder school a mock JC. Complete with the ?'s Did he lick your breast or suck it? Did you like it or not? What size bra to you wear again? They'd have to ask me leave I'd be laughing so hard.
"More browbeating on the theme of porn. Apparently, this is a huge & growing problem"

Seriously, though, thanks for taking the time to post this. It's frightening.
Um, Blondie....who's the one on the right? He's gorgeous!! Actually, I wouldn't kick either one of them out of bed.......
Yeah Blondie who are these people.
Lol one of them has a tatoo on his "breast". was the tatoo artist guilty of uncleaness or losse conduct?

This new rule of waiting AT LEAST a year before reinstating someone shows the FDS think Armageddy is at least a year away. Yeah real soon!!
I thought they were under a death sentence until the Eljerks say they might live after the announcement, as long as they earn it. God don't give away free gifts you know.

Just wanted some visual examples of male chests. Just a couple of swimmers from a Google Image search.
I like the tattoo too.

The emphasis on the difference between, "loose conduct" and "uncleanness" is to do with emphasising obedience to the elders.
In a study (About ''79 or '80) Ephesians was discussed. The term "past all moral sense" was from the greek term Apelgekotes, which literally means to "cease to feel pain"
It describes the attitude of the sinner not the sin. "loose conduct is a shameless DISREGARD FOR DECENCY where one ceases to care what other feel or think"
Notice that at some point in the last few years, this dictionary is now being quoted as saying that "loose condust is a shameless DISREGARD FOR AUTHORITY etc."
This is why some people on this board have disagreed with elders, argued with them called them fools, and been DF for "loose conduct"
In the original study the Bible Dictionary was not cited, but I would be interested if the later definition was taken from a revised Edition by its publishers, or the WTS own revised edition of its study article.
