X-box or play station...

Please advise this old woman ... which should I get for a Christmas gift play station or X-Box? On one games sight (StarWars) they say X-Box but I've never heard anything about that?? Help

I concur with the Play Station...though my oldest prefers X Box.

well I asked my boyfriend who is the expert on gaming (ok he is my expert to me.. ) and he says X-box.. better graphics. He has playstation 2 but I am buying him the X Box for a present (shhhh don't tell)

he asks though.. how old is the person who you are buying it for? that can make the choice different..

We made the mistake of getting Ant Playstation last year now ......ta dum he wants the X-Box still so should have gotten it in the first place. He plays Halo on it and is hooked

I would suggest Playstation. More games, and better games at that.

I would suggest Playstation. They have a better game library and sony is a better developer overall. The only real hit X-Box ever had was Halo.

I prefer the playstation. But I think you should ask him, because its no good buying him one if all his friends have the other........

Online gaming is the future and the XBox is ahead of the Playstation in this regard (built in broadband and HDD) and single managed gaming service (XBox Live) instead of an offering from each game developer.

you're probably enjoy whichever one you get though. One of the key things is what console friends etc... have as you can borrow games and play against each other.

Halo is good but there is an updated (Live enabled) version out soon. Get Midtown Madness 3 ... fantastic.
