What does having a Free Mind mean to you?

i am working on a couple of articles on the topic.

one is called "the heart of the free mind," and the other is "diary of a free mind.

my belief in christ is based on a supernatural experience that i had.

i want to encopurage all jwners to go onto the noblood.org forums and participate freely.

it is one of the more disgusting jw forums on the web.

they are trying to say that it is not a jw owned and operated website, but everybody i've enteracted with via telephone calls, emails and forum exchanges is a jw.

What can ex-JWs learn from Harvey Milk?

if you haven't seen the movie "milk" starring sean penn, or is you have not seen a documentary or read up on harvey milk, then it'll be hard for you to have an opinion on this.. this is not a "gay" thread.

the fact that harvey milk was gay and was a civil rights leadewr for the gay movement has nothing to do with the point i will make here.. harvey milk when he was campaingning for city supervisor for san francisco and fighting against prop 6 in the mid 70s came upon some marketing research that said, where a person actually knows a gay person, they vote favorably towards gay civil rights 2 to 1. this made him come up with his policy that everyone working on his campaign that had not come out as gay to their freinds and family, had to come out.

i'm not sure if there were any consequences if someone just refused to come out; the movie didn't say and neither did the documentary.. .

it's time to stop playing the semantic game with jws and the watchtower.

they haven't been abstaining from blood for decades.

should there be a national coming out day for JWs leaving the borg?

i got the idea from what harvey milk did for the gay movement.

i am tired of hearing these stories about people staying jws while scared to admit they don't believe in it anymore.

if you saw the movie milk, then you know the argument.

It's Time to Stop Saying...

it's time to stop saying that jehovah's witnesses do not accept blood transfusions.

it just isn't true any longer.

i have posted documentary evidence of jws world wide accepting whole platelets , whole plasma, whole white blood cells, their own whole blood after it being stored up to six hours, and evidence of them saying they are "very happy" that the courts ordered the transfusion of their children saving their lives.

yes, sad to say.

i found out that he lied to me on two occasions.

one, that if he didn't get 500 dollars in 1 (then 2, then 3, then he sort of forgot how many weeks it was supposed to be) week the court would force him to drop the case.

Just saw an elderly JW man...

he was walking with such a slump, dragging his feet, carrying a jacket, magazines barely visible just hanging from his fingertips.

if body language has any validity to it, this man was deeply discouraged and depressed.

i remember that slump too.
