I repeat the fact that the Bible clearly indicates that the land of Judah was to remain desolate, without and inhabitant, to be an object of astonishment for seventy years which utterly cripples the Jonsson hypothesis.

As you say it is I that first announced to this board a publication that now addresses the issues surrounding the Empty Land and Babylonian Gap. Scholars are taking a much closer examination of this critical period of Judean history and the research has both much of interest to WT scholars. Of course, one should expect confirmation of 607 but there is no confirmation of 587 either. The publication should simply be seen as a work in progress and only time will tell where the research will end.

A typo mistake. 'should not expect confirmation' is what is meant.

So if the 70 years ends in 537 BC, how could the returning exiles in 538-537 have found the land already populated with Samaritans and "people of the land" (Ezra 3:1-3; 4:1-4)? Are you saying, in contrast to Ezra --you know, the Bible-- and common sense (not to mention archaeological evidence of inhabitation in the land of Benjamin), that the land was entirely devoid of people until the exiles returned in 537?

    LOL!

But .. but ... haven't you two read "Prosser and Keeton on Torts" (Robert F. Keeton et. al., Section 106, 5th ed. 1984), which explains that the majority of courts hold that "misrepresentation" occurs when "[L]iterally true statements are made that create a false impression."
