The intent for getting visits from elders is so that they can give spiritual strength and encouragement to specific doubts, start being adamantly oppositional and in turn your going to be seen as unfaithful, weak and rebellious.

Thanks to all for your insight into all of this. I appreciate your advice and will take that into consideration when they meet with me.

As much as you may want to speak common sense to them and reason with them about the WTS involvement with the UN, in the end, the only thing that will matter to them is "if you still believe that the FDS is Jehovah God's spokesperson."

You can catch the FDS giving contradicting advice within the same paragraph and it will boil down to "do you still believe that Jehovah God is using the FDS as his earthly representative."

It's kinda like trying to teach a 2 month old to do calculus. They won't get it.

If it looks like your getting drilled , ask the dickheads if Geoffrey Jackson was serious about the slaves attitude towards the channel of communication. He's on record as saying it would be "presumptuous " to think it's the only one. Play it on your ph for them, remember to record everything. If it bothers your conscience lying , remember it didn't bother Geoffrey lying or maybe he believed his own Shi.. . Either way ask the elders should Geoffrey be dealt with for apostasy or lying, you could even ask does he come under different rules, keep focused stick to your diversion. Turn the tables. If it turn into a JC insist on meeting at a place of your choosing. KH is not a neutral ground keep them out of their comfort ground. Ask for every accusation to be back up by specific scripture. But true reality is you are only buying time , if you believe black book even Christ couldn't prevent linching.

I've been in this situation before, in the same circuit as you I might add. This is bad news. You will end up having to pretend like they helped you see the light and are over the UN scandal. Otherwise they'll just ask more questions which ultimately leads to the "Do you believe the Governing Body are Jehovah's appointed faithful and discreet slave. You answer to that will depend on how much you want to keep your marriage together.

The spiritually blind, confused, insane and toxic Watchtower ruling religious clergy class is always right no matter how wrong they are.

Knowing more, better, or differently is a capital offense for anyone especially those of the laity class.

Do what Sloppy Joe suggest, then you might get off the hook.

Hey if they pose the question ... " Do you still believe that the FDSL as the GB is Jehovah God's spokesperson for all mankind ? "

Just say or reiterate what GB member Geoffrey Jackson said ...

" He's on record as saying it would be "presumptuous " to think it's the only one."

On second thought these guys might still protect their power and control and say well will have to review your dedication and faithfulness to Jehovah and his chosen FDSL.

If they come with information regarding the UN involvement, they most likely will come with the standard excuse that the organization just wanted to use the library at the UN.

The truth to the matter is that when the WTS signed up as an NGO, the initiating requirement for all organizations was that they had to abide and by in agreement to the UN Charter.

This is still true today as it was when the WTS signed on.

Has the WTS ever been in agreement to the UN Charter ?, hardly just the opposite in a matter of fact according to its own teachings and proclamations about the organization..

    Simple Definition of hypocrite

    • : a person who claims or pretends to have certain beliefs about what is right but who behaves in a way that disagrees with those beliefs
