I am going to use the "cease to be involved" statement. I like that because that is exactly what I want to do. Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi lv4fer: I got your e-mail...did you get mine?

I wanted to put my 2 cents worth in as well. There's soooo much to consider, having been DF'd myself and knowing how that goes and then them coming after my oldest son with the intent of DFing him. The hardest part is the impact on the kids...That was a biggy for me. When I was DF'd...basically so were they. In other words, people stopped inviting them over...other kids in the hall started making comments about them, i.e. their hair style etc. Eventually they, too, felt like outcasts and it was very hard on them. The advice to my oldest was don't give them the satisfaction of meeting with you. Walk away. As long as you do not step foot in the KH again, avoid their JC meeting, after a short time, they'll leave you alone. That way you have free "reign" to still associate with your family and things can be on YOUR terms...not the WTBTS.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Cheryl
