Jehovah's Witnesses always point to Isaiah 43:10

when makin' the claim as to who they should be a witness for

What they fail to acknowledge is that Isaiah 43:10 was qouted before

the birth , death and the ressurrection of the Christ

After the resurrection Jesus was given Authority in the heavens and

on the earth in Matt 28:18

To be able in Acts 1:8 to tell his followers to be Witnesses of him

As many here have come to know, the WTS is trynna undermind the authority of Jesus

Boy, did I get this topic badly wrong!!!

I thought that the following 24 scriptures proved conclusively that Christians should be witnesses for Christ, but I hadn't allowed for the Reasoning Book to make me see the 'truth' via the "insight" in the Reasoning Book regarding one scripture!!!!

    Matt.10:18; Mark 13:9; Acts 1:8; John 1:15; John 5:37; John 8:18; John 15:26,27; Acts 10:39; Acts 10:43;Acts 11:26; Acts 13:31; Acts 22:15; Acts 22:20; Acts 23:11; Acts 26:16; 1 Cor. 1:6; 1 Tim. 2:6,7; 2 Tim. 1:8; 1 John 5:9; Rev. 1:9; Rev. 12:17; Rev. 17:6; Rev. 19:10; Rev. 20:4.

    rs p. 208 Jehovah’s Witnesses

‘Christians are supposed to be witnesses for Jesus, not for Jehovah’

You might reply: ‘That’s an interesting point you have brought up. And you are right that we do have a responsibility to be witnesses for Jesus. That’s why Jesus’ role in God’s purpose is emphasized in our publications. But here is something that may be a new thought to you. (Rev. 1:5) Of whom was Jesus "the Faithful Witness"? (John 5:43; 17:6) Jesus set the example that we should imitate, did he not?".

That definitely shows why I'm not in Brooklyn Heights, and they are!!

I yield to the superior spiritual insight shown by the 'Glorious Ones'.

    The Searcher Your not wrong

the WTS mislead the sheeple into thinkin' they should be witnesses for

another instead of Christ. By their own definition on page 32 in the Reasoning book

    the WTS is the Antichrist

    Antichrist:

Definition: Antichrist means against or instead of Christ____Reasoning book page 32

The puppet masters in Brooklyn prep the sheep on

how to respond to the question you might be asked in field service

    If Someone Says______

' Christians are supposed to be witnesses for Jesus, not for Jehovah'

You Might reply : ' but here is a new thought to you. Of whom was Jesus the faithful witness_______ Reasoning book page 208

The WTS deliberately mislead folks and go beyond the things taught

    Galatians 1: 8

" However, even if we or an angel out of Heaven were to declare to you as good news something beyond what we declared to you as good news, let him be accursed. "

The word xian did not originally appear in the Bible. You can verify this yourself by reading the oldest complete bible at codexsinaticus.org

Theres no Jesus in the OT, no Jehovah is the NT, no "christian" in the entire Bible, no monotheism in the OT and so on. In fact most of you think define xianity is not true at all.

WT also removed JESUS or CHRIST from the JW baptism ceremony / question, not even loosely based on Math 28:19

you can hear about the "-- you recognize you are a part of

    Jehovah's (father) Spirit directed Organisation--

The have supplanted "THE SON" with Organisation, having claimed for IT authority and giving salvation.

they kept "Jehovah" the middle-ages european version of the three letters.

The Purpose of Prophecy : WT 05/01/87

Thus a primary intent of prophecy was to make known God's purposes and the "anointed one," or "Christ," through whom they would be fulfilled. Since this chosen one proved to be Jesus, Jehovah's angel said: "Worship God; for the bearing witness to Jesus is what inspires [or, is the spirit of] prophesying." (Revelation 19:10) Two facts are made clear by this declaration. First, no agent of true prophecy will demand to be worshiped because true worship belongs only to Jehovah God. (Matthew 4:4; John 4:23, 24) Second, the ultimate aim of all true prophecy must be to reveal events and facts relating to Jesus. This recognizes the key role Jehovah assigned him in the outworking of His purpose to sanctify His name and restore earth to its proper place in His arrangement of things.-John 14:6; Colossians 1:19, 20.

For this reason, inspired messages from God pointed primarily toward Jesus. The entire spirit, or intent and purpose, of such true prophecy was to bear witness to him. Furthermore, the realization of the prophecies in Jesus marks them all as true. This is why the Bible says that "the truth came to be through Jesus Christ." "For no matter how many the promises of God are, they have become Yes by means of him."-John 1:17; 2 Corinthians 1:20; Acts 10:43; 28:23.

I thought the Bible was all about the 144,000 and the Watchtower, and pronouncing YHWH as Jehovah??

What the crap!! How can they not see what they are doing?!

    All Divine Revelations?

COULD God's spirit, which inspired the Holy Bible, also be responsible for other books that some consider to be holy? (2 Timothy 3:16) This question was raised by an Italian Jesuit journal (La Civiltà Cattolica), published "under the supervision of the [Vatican] Secretariat of State" and thus considered authoritative in Catholic circles."God, by means of the action of Holy Spirit, scattered the seed of the Word even in some holy books of a non-Jewish and non-Christian tradition," said the Jesuit journal. For the Jesuits, "holy" books, such as the Zoroastrian Avesta or the Confucian Four Books, were written "not without some particular influence of Holy Spirit, and therefore, in some measure they contain a 'divine revelation.'

"However, the article makes a clarification. "Not all that such holy books contain is the word of God," it states, adding that those who wrote these books may have "suffered the influence of a polytheistic environment or the philosophical context" in which they lived and acted. According to Marco Politi, Vatican affairs correspondent for the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, this stand "opens previously unthinkable possibilities in relations between the Catholic Church and the great historical religions," returning to the spirit of various interconfessional prayer meetings like that in Assisi in 1986, vigorously promoted by John Paul II

.Jehovah is not a God of disorder and confusion. (1 Corinthians 14:33) So we cannot rightly conclude that his holy spirit, or active force, would inspire even a portion of any books that are not in full harmony with his Word, the Bible. Rather than encouraging ecumenical approaches between different "religious traditions," the Christian apostle Paul wrote that there is "one hope . . . , one Lord, one faith, one baptism."-Ephesians 4:4, 5.

That "one hope" hinges upon putting faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible appropriately states: "There is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved." (Acts 4:12) No other "holy book" presents Jesus as the central figure in the outworking of God's purposes. Only if we accept the Bible as the Word of God can it teach us about Jehovah God's loving provision for salvation.-John 17:3; 1 Thessalonians 2:13.

    WT 9/15/2010

" 8 Similarly today, a Governing Body composed of spirit-anointed Christians contributes to the unity of the worldwide congregation. The Governing Body publishes spiritually encouraging literature in many languages. This spiritual food is based on God's Word. Thus, what is taught is not from men but from Jehovah.-Isa. 54:13.

So when the " encouraging literature " is wrong.... " ...we cannot rightly conclude that his holy spirit, or active force, would inspire even a portion of any books that are not in full harmony with his Word, the Bible."
