This comment shows a real ignorance for the Bible. The NT is not anti semetic. The gospels report what was done by the religious leaders of that day, not all the Jews. The Bible upholds a respect for the Jews, and the nation of Israel as a whole. Paul talks about the salvation of his Jewish brothers. And Revelation talks about the eventual salvation for Israel.
When I hear comments like "Christians hate the Jews because they think they killed Christ", I just shake my head. Anyone saying this needs to look back at the account and read it. It was not the Jews as a whole that killed Jesus.
P.S - Why do Italians not get mad at Christians? Why not be up in arms that the Bible blamed ROME for killing Jesus? HOW DARE THOSE CHRISTIANS SAY THAT ROME WAS IN CHARGE OF JESUS KILLING?!?!? That's because it is reporting history. It is not condemning all Jews just as it is not condemning all Romans or Italians. Why do other nations not get upset if a history book comes out and reports something that they did that was an atrocity? America has been responsible for MANY attrocities. But if it happened, it happened. It doesn't mean all American's are bad because the a-bomb was dropped on Japan. It does not mean that all American's are bad because of the horrible crimes of some of the soliders in Vietnam. History has been reported and that does not mean that ALL people of a race, country, or creed are responsible for something that was done.
