I would get on the phone and tell my family members that I love them (while I was all choked up). Then I would look through photographs and savor a few good memories and (be crying a lot) then I would wait for the inevitable.....What else could you do?
I'd find out where the asteroid is expected to strike and try to get my ass (and my family) to the opposite side of the world. There have always been some survivors of catastrophe on this planet. I'd be determined to be among them. I'm stubborn that way.
Regret that I never got life to work out for me... call the people that have really mattered in my life: our times were special but fleeting...
I would buy the local convenience store out of Reeses peanut butter cups and just go to town.
