THAT's the point I make, over and over and over again... And it sails right over most peoples' heads...
Which approaches the point made by Richard Dawkins... And others... "Most people are atheists for all 'gods' except one. I just take that atheism one 'god' further..."
AND - the most likely candidate for a "true" deity - is the OLDEST one, not the more recent versions...
The various 'gods' of the bible are only around 3,500 years old - one could add 500 years for oral tradition maybe, but those deities will NEVER approach the age of the "Acheulean Goddess" found in Israel, which is is AT LEAST 230,000 years old, by the way... And may be as old as 800,000 years...
(This list is mostly GODDESSES; so the actual list of ALL DEITIES worshipped by humanity since the beginning of worship would actually be a LOT longer!!!)
