*small voice* I was going to say a sock puppet - with buttons sewn on for eyes and a small felt tongue... not as grandoise as the erector sets or construx.
That was way back when I was about 5. We were poor and I remember my older sister sewing it - and I spotted her doing so, and commented how neat it was. I guess later, I got it as a present... I don't actually remember opening the gift - or the Christmas.
That was the last Christmas we had as non-JWs. My mom started studying with some JWs (paradise book?) - and the rest is history.
Until I started celebrating about 7 years ago.
