The people speak: Religious group changes Bible text Jehovah’s Witnesses go to meetings twice a week to train and learn how to manipulate people into questioning their belief and doubting their faith. They use these manipulation techniques when knocking on doors. They are looking for lost souls. These manipulation techniques include guilt, intimidation, appeal to ego, fear, curiosity, desire to be liked and love. If they can inject these emotions into your thinking, they can temporarily suspend your ability to use reason and logic to evaluate your situation. These are tools that Satan uses with lies, trickery and deceit to get you to feel comfortable with their message. Once they accomplish this, they have gotten you to accept the devil for comfort for your emotions. Over time, these tools completely remove your ability to think for yourself. Once this process is complete, you belong to Satan, and one of his angels will then control your every thought. When Jehovah’s Witnesses knock on your door there are always two of them. One is a deceiver in training. The other is a demon, training the deceiver. Jehovah’s Witnesses become masters at deception and intimidation. They use these tools in everything they do. That is why they seem so strange to everyone who isn’t a Jehovah’s Witness. Their own personality has been removed and replaced with Satan’s crusade to get you to turn your back on God. Once they have deceived you into thinking you are practicing a God-fearing religion and removed your ability to think for yourself, then Satan has your soul. In 1961, the Jehovah’s Witness organization printed its own version of the Bible called the “New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.” They preach that there is 52,000 mistakes in the King James Bible. This means they have changed the Bible 52,000 times to make it say what they want it to say. Herb Pope Checotah Click to discuss this story with other readers on our forums. GO all

Sounds like the writer of the article could use a little deprogramming just as much as the JWs. It looks like a case of one mind control cult pointing the finger at the other mind control cult.

That very well describes how the JWs operate in enticing people into their organisation in order to victimise them. It's good that a hard hitting article like this has appeared in a newspaper it's precisely what's needed to make the public aware about the real nature of the cult.

No it doesn't. It claims they are agents of Satan. The article itself is trying to manipulate people by tapping into their fears about evil supernatural entities.

It absolutely is not. I would be horrendously embarrassed if an article like this appeared in my local newspaper. It's the sort of thing that might have appeared in a church newsletter here fifty years ago. It's simple-minded superstitious bigotry that is unlikely to convince any thinking person - but then, it's not aimed at them.

I think it is over the top to say they are trained to decieve, they would have no knowledge that they were being trained to decieve people, I don't believe the average JW goes door to door to deliberatley decieve people. To call them a demon is really being quiet silly, for the most they are really nice people that have been decieved by a lot of zealot nutters, who they have changed the doctrines, not the publisher, they blindly go along thinking they are doing what is right in God's eyes.

I hope that he truth comes out about past doctrines that have cost the lives of so many innocent people only to be changed, and their realisation that they have to admit to their false claims and repent. But I can't see that happening the later that is.

If you can remove all the references to Satan and the demons () then its a pretty accurate description of JWs.

Unfortunately, it reveals more about he writer and his religious beliefs than it does about the JWs as it stands.

Danny - YES! It is true! But unfortunately once someone starts ranting about evil spirit creatures they can lose a lot of their credibility and then make people doubt everything in the article because they consider the write a 'loon'!

This writer of the article has the JWs down to a 'T'. However, he doesn't put himself in a very good light either. You can understand why the WT Society might not want to debate or even glance at what he has written or consider it any threat to them at all. They make themselves look just as bad when they 'start on' about Satan and the Demons!

It's just not very 'fashionable' or even 'sane' to be considering evil spirits as a reality anymore. So, as accurate as we know he is in describing what the WT do he sort of shoots himself in the foot when describing the jWs as demons and demons in training! Very funny though!
