yeah...the thing is pretty much all of them were personal friends..if they werent staying with us then we would have them for a meal or for the evening or go to their flat for an evening or go to the theatre..and def take them on calls when they visited for the week

    i loved these guys...

and not one of them lifted a finger to help when i needed it

the irony just knocks me out

BluesBrother, thanks for the memories. I've been racking my brain for weeks, and I just couldn't remember his name. Tom Maltby. I wonder if he's dead. This guy was one of the most pig headed bigots I ever met in the Org. IMHO.

I'm trying to recall names to put to faces that I don't think have been mentioned already:

    Michael Spur

    Ray Midgely (deceased)

    Brent Smith

    Chris Thompson

    John Nuttal (removed)

Can't recall the name of the guy from Jersey, or the DO who lost all his hair from an illness.

    Jim Buckingham

    Wilf Gregory

    Nobel? Bowers.

Its been over twenty years, not even sure if i have the names right.

Gregory nearly caused a riot at one Convention when he described Football as the last of the bloodsports. Our Congregation used to play football...come to think about it,sometimes it did became a bloodbath.

Thanks Tij - yes, the DO was Peter Morgan.

The CO was Roy Renauf (wife, as statistically usual, was Jean).

Also David Craig, who came off due to depression or somesuch.
