Maybe you have both thought of each other over the years, and it was God's way of letting you know that everything is okay. So, was she everything you remembered? Any butterflies? Or did you feel like, "Whew! Thank goodness I didn't go there!"?
Not god. The collective subconscious, ala carl jung (he called it the cllective unconscious).

I'd say you're a believer now,...whether you like it or not.
I don't know if there are no coincedences. But, the way it seems to work is a bit like everyone is unconsciously connected, or plugged into everyone else, sort of like the internet or the phone system. The difference is that the connections are always on, more or less. Through that communal connection, continuous negotiations are being done. There are no absolutes at that level; good stuff, bad stuff, it's all doable.

She was exactly as I remembered her. If anything she looked better. No butterflies but I was nervous as hell. I detected some pain in her but that was just an impression. She might of been having a bad day. I seem to be looking to reconnect with people from my past lately. Maybe its my way of finnally putting all the baggage down. Sorry for unloading on you all.
