Do you secretly wish for a demon attack - serious question

i am not trying to compete with fmz as he has a supernatural thread going already but - do you secretlyt wish for a demon attack - serious question - the reason i ask this is because - if i had a demon attack it would mean there was a satan the devil and if there was a satan it would mean there was god.
what i am trying to say in a nutshell is "a demon attack would actually strengthen my faith" where at the moment it is non-existent almost

Discipline or Child Abuse?
by Dimples ini remember spanking my son when we used to attend meetings and conventions because he cried and just wouln't sit still.
i was told that he had to be disciplined so he would learn to behave and learn what was being said from the platform.
now that i look back i realize that that was child abuse and i feel so horrible about it.do you feel guilty for spanking your kids during meetings and conventions?

I spanked my first 2 when I was in, didn't spank the last 3 because I'm out
The WTS is an abusive org. that teaches people to be abusive too. Plain and simple.
By the way all 5 kids have turned out great BUT I do regret the physical violence.

often the happiest witnesses are the ones who don't think too deeply about the WT teachings. They like the friends, the meetings etc, but don't get too worried about the details. My wife is a "good" witnes but if she'd been raised a Catholic, I guarantee, she would be a "good" catholic. It's a comfort zone thing...
The "My religion right or wrong" mentality even exists within the witnesses.

Strange happenings on the JWDF...

inistead, it's opening up in dreamweaver.
i'm assuming that simon used this program to create the site.. is this happening to anyone else (at least anyone who has dreamweaver installed on their computers)?

I think there's a lot we don't know about the world we live in or even ourselves as humans and the mind body relationship. Jeffro was right in his comments, I had a relative that had a complete mental breakdown and "saw" all kinds of things, of course they weren't real.
The WTS plays on peoples fears and superstisions. They have lots of stories because it validates their beliefs in their own minds.
Why would a loving god permit an evil entity to reek so much havoc, death, destruction and misery on so many powerless (by comparison) individuals?...and don't say universal court case...

Will the anointed remnant survive Armageddon?

in fact, haven't there been discussions about how we know the end has to be near because the number of the anointed remnant is decreasing, but there still have to be a few on the earth when armageddon comes to help get the educational work organized in the new world?.
well, i ran across this article today from the 9-1-89 wt pages 20 and 21, paragraphs 12 and 13. i was attending back then.

Just got home from the assembly!!!!! How fortunate I am!!!!
by gringojj inokay i just returned from the assembly in historic amherst, mass.
i justlove the old houses in that town very nice.
anyways to recap the good parts, first off obedience.

Maybe the soociety could introduce it's own ilne of clothing "Kingdom Wear" They could make everything out of old gunny sacks...about 3 sizes too big ,so as not to reveal any bodily curves or bulges and just 2 styles, his and hers.... they could all have little caps too

Doesn't it all boil down to "Obedience or Death" The WTS has nothing new of value to give so they just rehash all the old stuff and tighten the screws more. Isolate the faithful even further and paint the world as darker than ever. Everything outside the org.is a threat, and evil, and dirty, and so deserves to be cleansed....Yeah there's going to be a religious cleansing...according to them.
I don't know how the R&F put up with it...Dont play with the neigbor kids because they're "worldly" Isn't that a bit like saying dont shop at the grocery store because the owners are Jewish...We've been down that road before
What's next, Goose setpping and raised arms?
