priveledges an extra layer of protection

i have noticed when an elder or ms gets in serious trouble, many times it's simply a demotion.

local example.

well liked ms son of a prominent elder/pioneer gets caught doing the dance with no pants with his fiancee.

In an area I used to live in, a large group of underage, kids all went out to the lake! The one elders son, and ms, pride of the congregation! Was 21, he went and got serval cases of beer! Well they all got drunk, and most also did the dancing in the sheets! It seem like 12 guys and 7 girls, involved! They were from 3 different congragation.

It all happened on a Friday night. Well elder boy,went straight to the elders Sunday morning, naming names, and listing, who did what, how many times, and with who! About half were dfed, the other half, less 1, were reproved! Elder boy was treated like a hero! He got his a few years later, when the one baby that came along really started looking like him, DNA test said yes! The poor girl was passed out drung when he pumped her, she had no ideal, who the daddy was!

Changes for Volunteers at Conventions and Assemblies in Spain

a guy on there just posted this regarding changes to the way the jws volunteer at conventions in spain and the changes seem fairly major:.

we had a special meeting today called a training session for volunteers.

I have to go next weekend, to some crappie place in Ar, extra cheap trade show / Flea Market type building, with really sad chairs, with no wiggle room! I can't afford it, very close to being totally broke, but no we have to throw $600 down the drain : (

KH Libraries Redundant?

i heard from an elder that his kh library is to be terminated when a refurbishment takes place.. is this now standard policy?

They have sent a letter out a couple of years back, listing what book, wt's & aw's, should be kept! Mostly nothing past 1980. Unless it had been revised!

Kudos to you People Who support your Spouse Suffering Meeting Attendance

i was inspired to post this because so many of you lovingly support your spouse by going to meetings conventions etc .knowing the crap your going to have to put up with , hoping that someday he/she will wake up to the bs.. and your willing to do this for as long as it takes .i take my hat off to you all.. it must take a lot of intestinal fortitude and love to do that .. smiddy.

Thanks Smidly! I have been playing the game now for just about 2 years, and it is getting harder all the time!

But I have a lot going on, other than that! It's going to come down to me, or a granddaughter, that is about as hateful, selfish, thief and lier, you could ever want to meet! Then add physical trouble's on top, I am just not sure any of it is worth it !

Carnivorous birds before 1975

who among you has ever heard of carnivorous birds, birds of the kind of vulture, increasing in number at lightning speed on some mystery island located on our planet ?

twice in europe before 1975, once through a co talk in a "kingdom" hall and once again by i do not exactly remember who during a jws' convention.

and all this in order to prepare jws to be as fit as a fiddle for an universal carnage orchestrated supposedly by the true god intending to very soon annihilate "worldly" people not belonging to his chosen ones.

There were supposedly news reports backing up "The Birds" I remember hearing it from at least 2 co's and a talk on the dc once. And non stop fild service chatter! And it included all kinds of birds. And just to make it feel even more real, the crow and black bird population was exploding in the big national parks around where we were living! The black birds got so bad the National Guard, had to take steps to kill millions of them!

I stopped giving talks, when I found out what the so called appointed men had done to me 12 year's was all )ies they made up! I found out 2 years ago! I knew when it happened, I had been wrongfully dfed, but I didn't wa`t to cause trouble down the road!

My Story of Waking Up - in retrospect

so, many of y'all know bits and pieces of my story of waking up, but i thought it might be nice to have it all in one place.. i was baptized at 11, auxiliary pioneered every summer, regular pioneer at 17, ministerial servant by 19, then went to bethel for a year.. i always had minor doubts from time to time, but nothing serious.

always dismissed doubts and decided to "just have faith.".

after leaving bethel, i was never really firing on all cylinders "spiritually speaking.

It pays to be careful, I thought I had changed up enough details and events. About 6 months later, I got a private message, from someone telling me, he thought he knew who I was. After a week or so of pulling my hair out, and worrying, he told me he had visited my congragation, but I wasn't there, then he told me who gave the talk! Then he told me my wifes daughters name. Oh it scared the crap out of me, thinking I was going to be outed! Then we had a few chats, and a phone call or two! Then I went and spent the day, with him and his family!

Well it has turned out good to have someone with the same feeling's about the borg, plus he enlightened me even more!

Then about that time a young woman came on the board, and after her telling her story, it rang a bell. I knew who she was! I wanted to reach out to her, but I kept it to myself, for I didn't want to scare her, lijllike I was! But she stopped posting after a short time!
