Congratulations!!!!!
You must be happy about being 10 years younger than you thought too!
My husband just recently had a birthday and thought he was turning 27, I had to burst his bubble and remind him he was turning 29 not 27. Oops.
married to the same woman for 39 years!
i guess that's because she is a "worldly" woman and everybody here knows they are the best kind!.

if you can be really honest with yourself, do you think that you exercise prejudice at times?
are you a person that makes disparaging remarks about certain groups because they are different from you?
if you feel that you're not a prejudiced person, do you see yourself stereotyping?
I too come from a very diverse family, lots of different races and nationalities. I do stereo-type a bit. I come from an area where everyone is decended from various scandinavian countries and they fight about customs, which country's the best and swap deragatory jokes about each other. Finnish-Norwegians-and Swedes mostly. It's odd to me one of the lone non Scandinavians because they all kind of seem the same to me.
I do have a deep seated prejudice against people with mullet haircuts and "wife beater" muscle tee-shirts especially if they drive a rusted out el camino while blaring USA coutry radio at full volume. Also people who wear socks with sandals. I don't know if it's a true prejudice though, as I'm glad these people exist as they amuse me to no end.
i am just curious.
i am not trying to badger anyone or start something.
so don't anyone get all upset and start tellin' me i am censoring you or judging anyone.
To those that stress over the meaning of these things-chill out.
Well said Hamas. You get a thumbs up from me too!
i'm a bartender and love a good cocktail!
key lime pie martini.
1 1/2 shots vanilla vodka, preferably stolichnaya or 3 olives.
Great recipes guys
The Sicilian Kiss sounds like a good drink special idea for my bar!
I love Blue Motorcycles but we call them Kansas City Icewaters here. We usually limit people to 3 where I work because after 3 most people are plowed. I've never heard of Bongwater but I'll check my recipe book at work tonight and see if it's in there.
Fe203Girl's recipe for slippery nipples was new to me too. We have 'em here but we make them with Bailey's and Butterscotch Schnapps and serve them as a shot. Your's sounds better, less sweet.
Vivamus-Amsterdam Sinfest sounds like a wicked good time!
I also thought the unwritten but definitely spoken skirt rules were wierd. Kinda like the men with facial hair phobia they seem to have. We had an elder who used to make the young girls kneel on the floor and if your skirt didn't touch the floor when you knelt it was too short! What a crock. We were also made to wear dresses/skirts in up to -40 F. flat tempuratures when out door to door. Brrr! We used to wear long johns under our skirts, rolled up over our sorel pack boots, quite the fashion statement!
please provide proof that elders are not appointed by holy spirit or are especially giftd with more holy spirit than anyone else.
I would assume that the proof Elders don't have any more holy spirit than anyone else is the fact that they don't have fire flaming over the tops of their heads and they aren't speaking in tounges like the bible says people with holy spirit do. Well maybe they kinda have the speaking in tounges part down.
I love the idea of dunking Elders! That would be SWEET!

The bourbon/lemonade sounds mighty tasty.
I like scotch too! Single malt Balvenie 12 year doublewood is my favorite. I like to ruin a good single malt by making it into a rusty nail which my fellow scotch drinkers think is pretty Philestine of me.
Rusty Nail
1 1/2 shots scotch
1/2 shot Drambuie
Yum Yum!

Brandy Slush-Mmmm! Sounds yummy!
Have you ever tried a Brandy Ol' Fashion' Blondie?
It's the same as the Southern Comfort one only use Brandy instead. Brandy Alexander's with creme de cacao, brandy, and ice cream are yummy too. Just don't try to drink 5 of 'em like I did when I was 19. Huge mistake!
.
