interesting admission in today's wt: adam may have understood "day" (as in "in the day you eat from it, you will positively die") to be a literal 24-hour period.
i don't think the wt has ever said this before; the usual emphasis is that jah meant it as a figurative day, a day from his standpoint which is 1,000 years (and the article does state that, later).. however, if adam understood god's warning to be carried out in a 24 hour period, and god did nothing to alleviate that, then who did the lying?
actually, regardless of adam's understanding, the question still stands but moving toward an admission of the use of day in that context to be 24-hours only makes the question even more valid.

i Like that term because of the fact that they have done this so many times. But the sad part is that no matter what they their opinion on what the bible is about, their followers will always have an unconscious one-hundred percent belief in them.

navyton agree about that. One of the many reasons why denominations have to oppose other religions is because they want to fully control their sheep. It's sick.
As for the text, agree wholeheartedly. Specifically jehovahs Witnesses think any person not in their religion is 'inferior' of some sort. If you asked them about that feeling they wouldn't say they feel like that but that they feel they can 'help' a person out just by telling them the message. When really they only associate with people in their religion and usually don't give non-witnesses a chance.

once when i was profoundly sad for too many days, my brother in law sent us a mix tape.

Not sure about brands but the classics of jazz sooth me in paradise. The radio features amazing oldies which help to warm, relax, and relieve my soul of tension.

to add on to your second paragraph note, it is so ignorant of them to warrant evolution as a 'doctrine'. Evolution is a theory pertaining to the scientific method. When people say doctrine, they usually are referring to a teaching related to the bible, or god. And second, why are they acting like creationism isn't exactly what they believe? Believing in the twenty four hour day creation myth isn't creationism. the Watchtower corporation should know that they are creationists because they believe a god created the world. it is That simple..
field service for up to twenty-four hours non-stop.... it's a bit of a fad in our area with pioneers - the twenty somethings especially.
we've heard from other family members and a jw friend that it's a thing in their part of the country as well.. it sounds like a group decides on a day and then piles into a van or suv to 'work' the territory - 12, 18 and even 24 hours.. anyone else hearing of this?.

Just two hours of field service is enough for me. Can't even imagine a full days worth of humiliating myself in a suit. That would be HELL!
