  all the circuit overseers in the uk have been called into bethel for a two-month-long seminar.

  no doubt the us has already had theirs: has anything started leaking out yet?

  There was a post on this some time ago I believe. No one seems to have any info on what's going on. All the CO's and DO's in the US are also going to a school for several months. There has been little talk from the CO's about what they actually learned, if anything.

  Since we are no longer considered to be of the Dub land uppercrust, we don't really see many of the "boys" now. Soon when we make our move to Florida a full time thing they won't know where we are at all and they won't be able to get past the front gate anyway.

  We have asked around among the folks we know at Brooklyn and others who have their ears to the ground, no one seems to have any info. Either the school was boring as hell or they've been told to keep the yaps shut.

  The Society's Late Sixties Film "HERITAGE"

  hi guys!

  this is my first posting and my question is:

  does anyone remember the movie (i believe the name was) "heritage" the borg presented on tv around 68-71?

  I believe the film's actual title was "The Heritage of Youth - Will It Be Good or Bad?"

  As others have stated it was presented at Circuit Assemblies and later at the congregatinal level by the CO. After run through the circuit the film was to be left with the circuit for use by any brothers who wwished to present it.

  Actually for it's time it was quite well done. Ulyss Glass and Ed Dunlap were quite involved in the production from inception to final product.

  What Is The Stupidest Rule You've Encountered As a Witness?

  one rule that i never could understand is that if you were studying with an unbelieving husband, you could associate with him, even as couples, but if a person was considered a "weak" witness, it was best to avoid any association until that person changed......what dumb rule or belief comes to your mind??

  Sisters working in public areas of Bethel must wear dresses, not pants, regardless of their work assignments. So those dear janitor sisters have to get down their hands and knees wearing a dress, and of course they better not show too much leg while doing it. More Jaracz crapola.

  How about the guilt trip they place on all those kids for wanking? Tell 'em to mind their own business.

  one day at the hall when i was about fifteen i guess, i looked at the talk schedule to see my name posted next to my next talk.

  i hated giving a talk.

  it made sick to my stomach before i would go 'on'.

  Oh my what a thing to do to a 15 year old. I was the school overseer at that time and I gave those talks to the elders. Thought it would be good for them to stand up and lie. Such a fury caused over a little wanking. The old fossils at Brooklyn should "Leave the poor kids alone please."

  all you ex-"brothers": was this just in my area (north alabama), or do any of you remember there being an unstated, but real nonetheless, pecking order amongst the brothers that correlated the size of your meeting briefcase/bookbag to your level of spirituality?.

  I still have a briefcase fetish, but only real leather, please.

  My $500 eldub case is now resting peacfully in a closet, used to carry things to classes when I go for continuing ed. type things. I still have some nice cases, one that is completely unused now ... haven't been in the "service" in several years and another that has meeting materials should we be so moved to go.
