Yes. Beside that, in the revised 2013 version the word Jehovah was inserted in 4 or 5 more places of the Old Testament.

Anyone knows whats the difference between Revised NWT and 1984 Edition?

Yes. The user "MeanMrMustard" had done this job perfekt. He read both bibles into an SQL database and compared them. Then he highlighted the differences in a PDF document in color.

However, it may also be because in western countries the team of translators is more critical and knowledgeable (with regard to the greek or hebrew language) in their approach to translation. There may be a huge "need for clarification" with Warwick for these countries - which takes a long time.

I know, for example, that in the european branch office (in Selters Germany) german JWs with greek mother tongue knowledge are working on the translation.

suit their agenda.. to make bible verses less silly/weird/bizarre.

to make god appear righteous, kind and justified.. to make the bible appear more practical and applicable for modern times.. have given a few here.

I don't know this. The churches do not have to make their tax returns public.

Some churches voluntarily publish what income and what expenses they had - which of course creates a basis of trust with the believer.

A cult (using the BITE - model to control there members) does not, of course, publish his finances. The JWs in Germany only have this document - how they will handle there finances:

In Germany a church has to pay between 2% and 4% of the church tax as fee to the tax office.

"Für die Verwaltung der Kirchensteuer durch die Finanzämter entrichten die Religionsgemeinschaften eine Verwaltungskostenentschädigung. Sie liegt zwischen 2% und 4% des Aufkommens der Kirchensteuer."

Translation:

"For the administration of church tax by the tax offices, the religious communities pay an administrative cost compensation. It is between 2% and 4% of church tax revenue."

So the org had to pay millions of Euro every year to satans system (tax office).So satans system would work for the org and would receive money for this work.

The church has no possibility, to access the income records of their members.

I have done this in June of 2014 - here a snippet of the answer from the tax office:

This year I left the JW "church" - not with a letter or a conversation with the elders.

In Germany you can leave any registered religion (also the JWs) by visiting the Registry office or District Court and paying 30 Euro fee.

I have done this and have now an official paper, that I left the JW religion.

So the goverment statistic about how many people leave there church ist now increased by 1 person (me) for the registered JW religion.

In the year 1999 the german branch printed a large and bulky book about the registration as religion in germany. The books name:

"Jehovas Zeugen - als Religionsgemeinschaft anerkannt"

Translation:
"Jehovah's Witnesses Recognized as a Religious Community"

Refusing to Report time in field ministry

what do you think would happen if i verbally refuse to report my time?

it's been several months since i turned in my time and i think the elder got tired of asking me lol.

frankly, i think it's stupid that jws are required to do this.

Each month, Witnesses report their preaching activity to their local congregation. This report is made voluntarily.

I was never asked for the report.
