with all the legalese being tossed around, and the expert manipulation on the part of the wtbts, who can explain why the "two witness" is being perverted by the wtbts?
i don't care if you're a bible believer and want to approach this from a biblical standpoint, or if you simply use logic and reason.

The 2-witness-rule ist the "truth".
The "truth" is the truth (for a JW).
As we watched during the last ARC session #54, no JW can accept,
that the "truth" has to be changed. If the "truth" must be changed, it wasn't the truth.
It's like talking with JW's about their doctrines - it's like talking to a wall.
If they change the 2-witness-rule for the ARC - they admit, that the past 65 years the "truth" (about the 2-witness-rule) wasn't the truth.

been thinking about this lately after almost 14 years out of the jw cult myself.
when you think of the language used within the jehovah's witness organization in such a closed society environment in how the wt society promotes almost absolute " trust " in the elders , the governing body, and trust even in the " friends " in the congregation themselves- is it any wonder that unscrupulous child molesters can enter any congregation pretending to be " spiritual " and take advantage of unsuspecting children or the parents ?
think about it : an individual is judged as a " spiritual " person within the jw organization based on what wt functions or duties they are good at performing.
As a "born in" the theocratic order is another explanantion for me.
As a Child I had to do, whatever my dad said. I could never question him.
Theocratic order means:
- I had to do, what daddy said -
- daddy had to do, what the elders or the CO said -
- CO, Branch, GB had to do, what Christ/Jehova said -
and no one in this order was allowed to question anything.
A difficult climate as child/parents to fight against abuse.

The WTS wants people who are anxious to find something they are doing wrong to fix the problem never admitting it could be people in the organization or unscriptural behavior on their part causing it.
