Christ's Fake Brothers - Tomorrow's WT Study

tomorrow's wt study, paragraph 4 says this - "the early bible students understood the expression rendered in the king james version "my brethren" to refer to those who would rule with christ as well as to all of mankind after they are restored to earthly perfection.".

rutherford decided in 1923 to change this teaching, and create an elite group of christians.

for 92 years the men running the wtbts have perpetuated & embellished this false teaching - especially so during the past three years - and hidden the bible truth about christ's brothers from millions of people fearful to question the org - created doctrine!.

I got your point. But to be fair, they don't say "only way". Anyhow, nowhere in the bible I can find a prioritization, which type of "showing love" is more importend than an other type.

Does your product contain blood? 1960/70's twottery!!

back in the 1960's early 70's i remember my congregation going on a witch hunt and making a list of products, ice creams, confectionary or anything that might contain blood!.

i remember one zealous brother asking an ice cream vendor if the ice cream contained blood.

the vendor just looked gone out!.

Always the same:

1) is there a little bit of blood in this ... included?

2) is there a little bit of pagan historie in this ... involved?

3) is there a little bit of military in this ... involved?

4) is there a little bit of "great babylon" in this ... involved?

5) is there a little bit of "stumbling my brothers & sisters" in this ... possible?

For ... you can fill in "sausage", "holiday", "work", "clothes" and a lot more words.

Knowing TTATT helped me to escape from all this sickening considerations.

Getting married when you are spiritually out

i met this amazing girl about 6years ago at my local congregation.

i was 100% in back then.

about 3years ago i woke up spiritually and kept it undercover till a few months ago.. this girl is still very in (but she doesnt really do the things a reaaal jw should do.

I feel that since she does things with me she isnt allowed to, I can just as well support her going to the study and one or two door knockings a month for the rest of my life.

Welcome on board.

Could you support your "wife" also, if she will be a pioneer? Then you have some more door knockings to support.

Will she come with problems to you - or will she visit her elders in the congregation?

No mention of DF in new brochure?

i went on my tablet today and clicked "yes" that i attended the convention (they probably tracked my ip and two elders will show up on my door step).

i scanned through the new brochure on bringing those who have left back.

i noticed that not once they mentioned anyone who was df!

Marvins thread tittle completly glosses the topic! I didnt even bother clicking because it didnt seem interesting (at a glance). However a new broschure directed towards inactive ones does peak my curiosity.... The chapter titles, if accurate, betray an astonishing lack of insight as to why people leave.
Of course that brochure isnt really written for the inactive. Its written, like all things, for the sole consumption of the faithful. Its a way to put reason to those that leave...either they were disgruntled or impatient, in effect. "See! I know thats why my brother or sister or best friend left because i read in this brochure!" After all, those that leave know better. We know exactly what our issues are and no brochure is going to fix. The org knows too. They will never address the real issues because of course they cant, but they can continue to put a smiling face on and look welcoming if for no other reason than to create a sense of comfort among those that stay for the fleecing.

No More Money!

as of this june (i've already given my may contributions which are substantial) i am no longer giving money to support useless building projects that serve no good purpose.

i am no longer giving money at conventions or assemblies.

i am no longer giving money toward the circuit overseers upkeep.

I will, though, continue giving money to those in the congregation who are in need. To widows who are in financial difficulty, to brothers and sisters who have lost their job or who can only find part time work.

I have done the same long time.

But think about this:

If I give my money to a JW - he always give a big thank you to JHWH in his prayers.

He always thinks, JHWH gave him the money.

So for me it makes no longer sense to give my money to a JW.

Maybe he will blame JHWH for having not enough money.

Just my 2 cents.

Conversation, if I would ask this my elderly mother:

MOTHER: "Have you asked your elders about this?"

ME: Yes, but they have no satisfying answer.

MOTHER: "So you must have a deeper bible-study!"

ME: I have all this questions, because I studied the last years already too deep.

MOTHER: "You should not study the "old" publications. Ask your elders for a bible-study!"
