we want believers in our kingdom halls and as members of our nation...
we dont want nor need non-believers that stick around just for the fun.. or family ties or social aspects

If Someone Mocks Jehovah's Witnesses Does That Bother You?
by minimus inevery once in a while i hear people purposely make fun of jws, calling them hovas, jeehoovers, etc.
i don't think that's a good way to reach them..

I'm a bit confused actually.
by quellycatface ini'm not i like the "happy clappy" bits and pieces in church (c of e).
it's just not me.
the local school choir came in today and did 2 songs and one was a rap song about easter.... that's so not me.. i like serious but not hellfire preaching.. any ideas where to next?

What do you think attracts new ones to the JW organization now?
by cultBgone inthis is an offshoot from the jws then and now thread...it made me wonder what exactly people find attractive about the cult today?
why are they joining?
any thoughts?.

one of the stories was about life in the dachau concentration camp when it was under the command of a man nicknamed "foursquare.

@cultbgone as far as the stealing part. I mentioned circuit assemblies.
At conventions the statement is made because overthere a lot of other people walk in. Its in stadiums and at other venues and in big cities. There is a bigger chance of pickpocketers.
Circuit assemblies are held in our own assembly halls with a number of congregations and interested people that have regelar biblestudy
