Just a brief History of me. Me and my wife got baptized into the JW cult in 1997. We were both Protestants before and in fact it was me who dragged her into the cult.
During 2009, another JW friend of mine raised suspicions about his research on the Blood and 607 BC theories. It happened that I found TTATT and stopped going to meetings in 2010. By 2011, I submitted my dissociation letter to the Cult and had never turned back. Am a hard core atheist now. What else ?
Every now and then I try to sow seeds of truth to my wife about TTATT. But she shuts down as Usual as a cult member.
Today she said that an elder in her congregation likes to visit me this Saturday , to invite me for the memorial. I gladly said yes, because this is the only chance to discuss TTATT in her presence as she too would accompany the elder’s conversation with me.
I am planning to start off with John 6:54 where Jesus says that everyone should partake in the Emblems. Then I plan to move on to Blood Issues, UNO, and those whole bunches of WT non senses and Flip Flops.
I already have a few visits during the past years like this where the elders came to visit me to revive me and it all had been lengthy conversations. I am confidant that I may have sowed seeds of doubts in their minds.
Any advises to me as to what I can discuss this time?

The increase in the Anointed Ones
by Sour Grapes into illustrate how the botchtower's groupies are losing brain cells...last year an elder told me some of the increase in the anointed is due to those who have been unfaithful and needed to be replaced.
when i was in first grade i knew that if i had 10 marbles and i lost one and a friend gave me a marble to replace the one i lost that i once again had 10 not 11 marbles.. jdubs are very good at not thinking..

May be Jah is stocking up replacements now, in case any of the 144K would disobey or sin in the new world. The bad apple would be quickly destroyed and replaced with the back up.
Strategic planner Jah.

Quick and vague Memorial invitations
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthis morning my doorbell rang.
i opened the door thinking it was a package delivery person or local politicians thanking my community for voting in yesterday's election.
there was a middle aged man standing by himself.

Invitation for an ancient cannibalistic Ritual, observed in the most funniest way possible. (No body eats or drinks it and passes it around).
I think the person who invited, Knew this.

Jesus never wrote a word about himself, while he was on the most important Mission to earth. Weird?
He is the Almighty for Christendom and the mighty God for JWs. Yet, He never explained about microorganisms, root cause of diseases, Human Physiology or our solar system or the Universe, which would have proved his divinity. He only (supposedly) spoke about the day to day affairs during those times – Love your neighbor, forgiveness, Slaves, Donkeys and Stuff.
There is no Corroborative evidence, outside the Bible, that he ever existed.
All his miracles do not have any tangible evidence for later generations to verify
All his Promises have failed. Like … He would return soon during the then generation.
He repeatedly said that whatever we ask in his name would be granted. Can we ask him to cure terminally sick people today?
He never condemned slavery. When Abraham Lincoln could free slaves, why couldn’t Jesus.
And most above all, he advised his followers to love him more than their families and to ditch their family and come after him. I hate him for this, if he had really existed and said this.
Christians say that he paid the Price for sin. Really.. then why does the world remain the same until today, with all miseries.
And he advocated “My way or no way” which was the cause of all religious wars - at least the crusades, Inquisitions and forcible conversions

If the Watchtower corporation went bust
by Fred Franztone inwhat do you think would happen to jehovah's witnesses as a religion and as a people?.

I had a die hard JW friend who may commit suicide or end up in a mental institution, if the religion gets dissolved.
How many would be there like this. That is my concern.

Scholarly interview on the existence of Jesus
by careful inperhaps this has been linked here before.
if that's the case, i'm sorry.
however, new people join, others miss things, some forget, so i thought it was worth posting, especially since this issue comes up from time to time and some here have never worked it out or are in the process of trying to do so.

- Jesus never wrote anything about himself
- There is no Empirical Evidence for any of Jesus Miracles. Its all "Somebody wrote something about a Miracle sometime ago and someone witnessed it"
- All of Jesus Predictions have already proven false.
- All of Jesus Promises have been proved false.
Then why the Heck Believe in him

God's Wife
by truthlover123 inaccording to scripture, god has a wife -israel.
he is her husband/husbandly owner.. the nation was cast off but jehovah said he would never leave israel.
that being said, jesus spoke of israel as a spiritual nation and the 144,000 to be picked from both israel and the nations (to fulfill the number) who were to be king priests with him.

The utter absurdity of the "universal sovereignty issue", chapter 4,786
by sir82 inso on the jw broadcast channel, there is a new 4 minute video entitled "why does god permit suffering".
i won't give them free advertising by linking to it, but you'll find it under the "latest videos" section.. it looks like it will be something that will eventually be used in field serve-us as a video to show householders.. anyway, it gives the illustration of the teacher and a "rebellious student" who says he has a "better way to solve the problem".
the infinitely wise teacher allows him to try, he fails, and the teacher is "vindicated".. other posts on this site demonstrate how inane the illustration really is - it breaks down nearly effortlessly.. anyway, the video goes on to explain that god allowed "rebellious humans" to continue on because (more or less direct quote) "millions of angels were observing.

Angels are far more superior and powerful than humans and do not endure suffering, like humans. And they have every chance to view this Almighty Jah all the time. They why would they doubt his immense power and Sovereignty. What is the need to prove to them at the Expense of mankind’s Suffering ?
This guy Jah is more interested in proving his righteousness to the angels rather than fix mankind’s suffering. What a sickening Egotistical maniac.
Believing this whole story of Universal Sovereignty is utter Foolishness, and I’m ashamed to have believed this nonsense.

A father warns his teenage son not to drive their car. The Evil neighbor induces the teenage boy to drive it, who then drives and due to his inexperience, gets into an accident and is badly hurt.
The father, instead of treating his son, allows him to suffer with his wounds for decades
If asked about this, the father says that he has to prove to his neighbors that he was right and his son was wrong and that is why he allows his son to suffer endlessly
How Brilliant!!!
