CS - I haven't read all of your posts but on the outset I feel you belong to some sect of Christianity. Had you been a JW before ? How come you are still so zealous in your beliefs ? Just curious.

John's Two Witnesses...Who Are/Were They?
by Cold Steel indo the scripture writers at hq allow for any scriptural exegesis that recognizes the state of israel as fulfillment of ancient prophecy?
isaiah, for example, writes: .
and it shall come to pass in that day, that the lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from assyria, and from egypt, and from pathros, and from cush, and from elam, and from shinar, and from hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

How To Fade Away Cleanly?
by SplaneThisToMe inthis is my first post and hopefully i can get some advice and input.
i have been actively involved with the organization for a little over 10 years now.
i began studying in high school, got baptized and my family fortunately did not.

I think your family or loved ones are not in. Whom you mention as JW friends are not friends at all. They are merely associates of WT, who would dump you mercilessly if you leave. My Experience.
Then why bother ? Dash out and experience the freedom and joy of living without superstitions

Casting Out DEMONS
by Cold Steel inif someone believes they're being plagued with demons or they have problems with hauntings, things moving by themselves or hearing voices or footsteps, who they gonna call?
i know they take demons very seriously, so who in the congregation do they go to when they need to bring out the big guns?
do they try to handle it themselves or is this a job for the elders?

If someone can tell me the address of that Haunted home in the VDO above, I could bargain it for a dirt cheap price.
I bet they wont sell, because this is the groundwork for another book and a Horror movie

My Personal Study

there was enoch who god 'transfered' so he wouldn't see death and elijah who god took away in a flaming chariot hidden in a whilwind!
as well as these there were the holy men ofjerusalem resurrected at the same time as jesus.

Do they even realise how disgustingly immoral this is and how badly it reflects on the God they worship?
by doubtfull1799 infound this little gem when going through the daily texts.... so let me get this straight.... god knows your suffering really badly and wants to help.
he knows you feel like you're at your limit, but he also knows that you are not really - that you can handle some more suffering.
so instead of helping, he "patiently" waits till you are at your absolute limit, and only then does he help!?.

God is patient and make us endure trials
This is Just a lame excuse given by religious people, especially Christians , to make up for their non existing god.

Did Being a JW Make You a Better Person?
by Boredposter ini heard many times when i was a witness how much "learning the truth" helped people.
many have been said to have become much better people.
addictions were given up.

I quit smoking. That's (only) one good thing WT has done for me, I believe.

If only the major news network would do a story on the watchtower
by nowwhat? inwith the shit hitting the fan with all these molestation charges against celebrities and notable people.
the time would be perfect for a u.s. major news network to do a story on the pedophile cover-up of the organization.
since dateline did a story about this 15 year's it would be great for them to do a follow up report on how not only have the watchtower not changed their ways but have become firmly entrenched about their pedo policies!

My JW wife and I watch dateline regularly. I bet my wife wont watch any such Dateline, that reviews the WT.
So are the Majority of JWs

How can a dead chicken atone for your sins?
by Fisherman inthe article says that the dead chickens are given to the poor but i was told that the chickens are thrown into the garbage.
(who could possibly eat a chicken full of sin?).
https://www.google.com/amp/abc7ny.com/amp/religion/exclusive-dead-chickens-in-cages-as-part-of-jewish-ritual/2457387/.

A dead chicken cannot atone for anyone's sins - anymore than a dead Jesus Christ can atone for anyone's sins - truth be known. Peace out, Mr. Flipper
Great, anything dead means dead. Nothing more. And this "Atonement of Sins" itself is a fraudulent concept of Christianity
