  Weather will change, that's for sure.

  In many million years climate will change due two major tectonic shifts: Northern America will move toward northern pole, and Greenland will be further north making continental ice shield possible. Second shift will be collision of Africa with Europe and uplifting mountains through Mediterranean and thus ending any traces of ancient Tethys sea. Earth will become dryer due larger land mass and much of the world salt would be trapped on land. Somalian land will secede from Africa and prevent ocean current circulating through Indian Ocean. Either way, climate is not constant. However, present global climate change is due man-made pollution.

  Implications of gay marriage ruling

  while many think that the ruling is good for the gays and their response is: how does that affect your marriage; then on the other side the religious people cry god and sinners.

  but both are missing the forest through the trees.. the problem with the ruling is that which is discussed here so many times.

  five unelected federal officials decided on policy for the whole country, running roughshod over every democratic principle.

  I cannot believe any of you were ever baptized. What are you going to endorse next? Bestiality. Marriage is between a man and a woman. Not a man marrying a man; or a woman marrying a woman.

  Endorse this type of behavior on an internet forum if you desire. But keep this in mind, Jehovah knows who you are.

  And I cannot believe you are so stupid that you compare consensual relationship between two loving adults with bestiality. Any case you do not define what relationship between two adults are. Nobody asked you for your permission.

  Global warming is measured fact and there is very little to debate about it. Many of denialists are not aware that regular weather measurement are conducted for several hundred years. In Prague they are measure on daily basis since 1774 such weather phenomena like temperature, humidity, pressure, and rainfall. University of Vienna and Leipzig measure weather even longer. The trend is clear that average temperature is rising. There are some oscillations where some decade were extremely cold while some years had hot dry weather. Any change in global temperature would be tied to oscillation from solar radiation, but rapid increase of temperature in past 200 years is tied to human action.

  I still remember this day as was it yesterday. My spouse is New Yorker and lost couple friends/acquaintances in WTC. I have a memory of two jumpers, one woman in violet dress holding a hand of elderly gentlemen in suit, and jumping out together. This is the most striking image I have from that day.

  Her case will be forgotten by the election. There will be different issues to deal with it than some unimportant county official. However, her beliefs is very good way to present the craziness of Christian extremism to the masses via media. She is an excellent poster child for crazy teaching of Apostolic church, and I am hoping she stay in the spotlight for much longer.

  Getting ready to visit the San Diego area......Any suggestions?

  my son is getting ready to move to hawaii.

  we are driving from indianapolis to san diego next week so that they can ship his car from the west coast and save about a thousand dollars versus shipping it from here.

  i am only going to be there for a few days, thursday through sunday and would like some suggestions of what to do while i'm there.

  I love San Diego, I go there quite often. My favorite place is Mission San Diego:

  
  

  There are some many things to do. I highly recommend San Diego Zoo, Aquarium, museums, head out to beach. Best carpaccio I ever ate was in San Diego. Great city to visit.

  I do not think she will resign. She earns good salary for KY, and if she does, her career is over as a county official. While she has a good chance to be reelected by her supporter, the chance are slim as the county is heavily democratic (she is D), and it has Morehead State University with extremely young population. This demographic group predominantly gay-friendly.

  I will see her going back to jail for another contempt of court. There is also possibility that KY AG would investigate her conduct, but also she may be sued by forcing her subordinates to disobey federal judge. She got her 15 min fame up. She could resign or she could continue to perform duties as required by elected official. Nobody is taking her religious beliefs, and she is not required to conduct any SSM ceremony.

  Once the backlash from her stance turns against her church, I would not be surprised, if they show her a door. Lastly, no major church wants to be associated with bigotry and homophobia as represented by Mrs. Davis.

  so i had a discussion with my mother about this, and she claims that because of this that: "we are surely living in the last days right now" while i must admit myself that the situation seem chaotic, i don't want to believe that it is the last days.

  so question is, how do i face an opinion like that?

  Thewonderofyou, I have not been in Liberec for 35 years! I generally prefer Plzen [Pilsen] or Kozel over other Czech beer. Litovel and Radegast are not bad either.

  Today largest Czech media (MF Dnes) reported that EU wants to resettle 4300 refugees there. Unofficial information (Czech R is too small to keep anything secret), said that the number will be 27,000-30,000 while Slovakia should receive half that number. Not sure which source are correct between Hungarian, Czech, and Slovak media, but the number of Hungarian refugees from Syria is about 17% or 34%. Rest are migrants from all over the world, from India and Bangladesh to Somalia, Ethiopia, and Yemen.

  Very clearly what problems are with the refugees can be seen in Denmark. Railway and highway connection between Germany and Denmark was closed Denmark. Refugees are stranded between these two countries and between Sweden and Denmark on ships. Denmark is refusing any EU quotas. Since Denmark limited welfare benefits, it became undesirable destination for the refugees.

  Awesome Way to Stop JW Family from Donating

  we feel it would not be in her best interest to wake her up at her late stage in life.

  she has a good little circle of friends that look after each other and keep her busy and out of meddling in our lives too much.

  My mom is donating every freaking week, or every time she goes to program. All the time. She had to donate thousand dollars over these years. She used to donate more, but she told me last month that she put $5 equivalent now, but used to put $20 every month. Elderette at her KH told her that my mom is stingy that she could afford to donate more because my mom own her house and she does not pay rent or mortgage.! I wish she would stop donating, but I do not control her finances.
