I started getting my first grey hairs in my beard at 21, but not too many. I'm getting ALOT more now and don't like it.
I've colored my hair a few times just to try it out. It may become a habit.

sometimes i sit back and read people's posts and wonder what their agenda is even if they have none.
i speculate on why certain people respond to certain people's posts.
i hate that!
Kisses are just fine!!!!

Aztec, I know exactly what you mean, and you're a VERY nice person. I'm glad I've gotten to know you in person, and you're right, you're not very good at carrying grudges. You're alot quicker to try to bury the hatchet than most people I've known, myself included. It's a quality you have that I respect highly. I wish I was more like that.
As far as my being naive goes, I'm pretty much the same on the internet as I am in person. If I get to know people online, I make it a point to get to know them in person as well. Sure, I've been burnt both on and offline, but so far the positive has far outweighed the negative. JMO, based on my own experience.

WELCOME AZTEC, our recycled newbie!!!
I know what you mean, we see posts, and we see trends, and sometimes try to read between the lines, and perhaps come to wrong conclusions. I've been guilty of that. I think you're right, it's just better to take things at face value.

one of our close friends is on the verge of an almost inevitable confrontation with her dad re: her fading.
her family is very devoted to the wts, and she expects that she'll have only one shot at presenting her defense to him.
she has 5 issues in particular about which she feels very strongly (not necessarily in this order):.
Making a defense based on anything doctrinal or organisational can only result in one thing - disfellowshipping. If your friend wants to have any relationship with family members, this is not the way to go. Better to just say she's too busy dealing with other matters at this time.

we got this call from one of the elders who df'd one of our loved ones.he wanted to know where so and so lives, phone # etc.this after two and a half years.they wanted to make contact to see if that one wanted to return to the congregation.
( not like the prodigal, who was restored on the spot by his father, rather ,by sitting for six months in the back of the hall and given the silent treatment.
he admitted tha elders can't read the heart and make mistakes 'mistakes' destroying someones life is a mistake??
I've only been out a few months, so it's too soon for them to start trying to visit me. I don't think they will though, since I told them in my letter to stay away.

here is a copy and paste from www.bethelcoachtours.com as to why you should go see bethel for your next vacation.
has anybody done this, any experiences good or bad?.
bethel branches all over the world.
We could always consider an apostate visit to bethel, with signs that say "Religion is a Snare and a Racket".

one thing which kept me trapped as a jw far longer than necessary was the fear that if i left and no longer believed, my life would be empty of meaning and futile and ultimately end in a meaningless death.
i could not find any meaning in the world apart from the view jws had imposed upon me... all other ways seemed to lead only to meaninglessness.. but once out and even without a belief in any god[s] i still found my life meaningful but it took several years before i understood my new source of meaning and now see it as the only valid source... i will explain this after i see some of your ideas as i do not wish to bias your answers in advance.
For me the meaning of life is to be the best I can at whatever I choose to do. Continuous growing and improvement.
