by gumby inlately i have been reading alot about those who cease the dub life, and though they are not officially dfed or daed, are treated as though they are by dub family and friends.
when i was a dub , i remember viewing those who did not come to meeting's anymore nor field service......as simply "weak" or inactive.
never do i remember shunning or snubbing those who seemed to fade away.

I was always told that they were bad assosiation, and they knew what they had to do. Wheras it's not official, it's the unofficial that counts; kind of like hiding sexual abuse of children in the congregations.

IMHO, We are all part of the universe and we are all responsible for the existence of bad things. God is part of everything and therefore isn't a man on a throne who needs to know we love him.

So then, if Adam was really the "head" of the family and the "sin" was committed under his leadership; then, why is Eve blamed? How is it that Adam retains his job as "head" of the family when his one test of headship was a miserable failure?
The bible is complete bullshit. That story is bullshit, Jesus is bullshit, everything in there is bullshit, period.
Why did god allow suffering?
Why didn't Job curse god and die? Because he was scared of a god that didn't exist. I curse god, and he hasn't struck me down yet!
Why did he allow suffering? Because god does not exist. If he does, he's a lousy person, and he can roast my body in hell before I will admit any different.

What would you do?
by FMZ inwell, i got done with my taichi class.
after driving around for a little while, seeing the sights etc.. i decided to head to work early, to get changed then head to the bar for a beer or two before my shift starts.. i filled up on gas, then as i was driving away, i noticed a poor gal (35ish) walking down the sidewalk slowly.. thumbing a lift.
obviously she had been drinking, though not to the point of totally stumbling all over.. i felt so sorry for the woman, i just had to pull over and give her a lift.

about 2 years after i was df'd, hl and i were newly weds heading for a weekend in london.

I went to a memorial and to one meeting, not in that order.
The one meeting had me disgusted. I was disgusted by people's behavior, and 'holier than thou' attitude. An elder came up and interrogated me, and I just answered two questions and said, "look, I gotta go. See you soon."
The next time was the 'memorial', and I was equally disgusted. I swore that I'd never ever ever go back again, and I haven't.
If they're the true religion then god can certainly kill me. I'd rather be dead than live eternity with bizarre rules and judgmental arseholes.
