  Is Fading Worth it?

  from time to time members of jwd will post an experience of receiving a letter or an email from a still believing family member or friend encouraging them to "return to jehovah" or the "organization".

  sometimes an intense amount of guilt is applied to the letter receiver.

  guilt for having left jehovah or for turning their back on their family/friends.

  In my opinion, if you have family members you hope to lead out, the fade is the best way to go.

  A question for the women...

  ok so here is the deal, i'm only 23 and get my period maybe once every three months, normally i feel really sick before i get it for example this time i felt really dizzy for about three days and felt like i was going to vomit all weekend, i just got my period today after 3/4 months.

  i'm wondering if i'm the only one on here that is so irregular and how normal/abnormal something like this is for someone my age.. .

  Lola,

  This does not seem normal at all for a 23 year old woman. You should be having a period every 28 days or so. Are you taking Birth Control Pills? These oftentimes will mess up your cycle. So can stress and extreme loss of weight. (The Nausea makes me think of Pregnancy)

  If you were my daughter, I'd pick you up and take you to the doctor myself. Due to your age, it probably isn't anything serious but you need to know for certain.

  that im having another baby!!!!!.

  just done the test and the line came up straight away....... we were planning on falling pregnant in about three months and happend to fall pregnant straight away...im still in shock but had to share it with you all my family.

  but, i see that a good number of people here still say things like "i came in to the truth..." or "i learned the truth..." etc.

  not being nitpicky or anything but just curious as to why do some still "talk the talk" so to speak.

  I speak Worldly Speak. When I'm riled, I use Genuine "Bad" words instead or Darn, Shoot, etc. Oops, I forgot, we weren't even allowed to say those words either.

  I need help, friendly suggestions, or a shoulder to cry on...

  ok, here's the situation.. i have no friends that live close to me and i'm up to my eyeballs in bills.

  i have applied to a few jobs that could potentially help me turn things around.

  the things is, because i don't have parents/friends or any other people in my life.... 1. how do i get a babysitter when i have to go on the interviews?.

  We are we almost all black now? Especially CO's.

  for the past couple of years at my district conventions, i have been unable to actually listen to most of it, so my mind is in many places.

  one such place was to count people in several of the other sections as to blacks and whites.

  section 132..42 white and 137 black, section 133..36 white and 144 black, and so on.

  Intersting Topic.

  A Fellow in My church thought all JWs were black until I explained they are all different races but then I've been out for about 20 years so what do I know? I was primarily in mostly Black congregations but the COs were always white.

  My son Thomas (who doesn't speak with me anymore) is dating a much younger black girl (he's 33, she's about 21 or 22). He told his siblings he wanted a young person so he could control her. My ex-husband married a much younger black girl after our divorce ten years ago. I think there may be a shift.

  I dragged my hubby off to see Hairspray. He Loved it. ~ We also saw the movie, Rescue Dawn. We both think Christian Bale is one of the best actors today. He's incredible!

  we are expecting the second grandkid next week, on 8-3... planned c-section.

  my job is to watch our first one until all is done then take him in to meet his new sister.

  he is 1 1/2, and my buddy.. well, i just got a call that my son thinks her water just broke.

  My Brother Died in a Car Wreck Last Night

  i just found out about an hour ago.

  he wasn't even old enough to drink yet.. to make it even sh*ttier, he had called me a few weeks ago and asked if he could come out here with me but i couldn't do it at the time.

  so of course the first thing that comes to mind is if i had done something different it wouldn't have happened.. he was going through the sh*t as i call it, when witnesses go off the deep end and get into everything in the world to stop hurting and they don't even know what is wrong.
