First of all i wrote of 70000 cases each day.... not deaths....
Second.... many countries in europe, australia, asia, succeeded to get out of this first wave... and are preparing to face a second wave.
It's sad to see that the US is still in that first wave and getting worse... and i believe that is thanks to a huge failure of the government, namely the president.

Trump is in a huge mess. 70000 + cases every day. And this is not to more testing. It-'s because a massive number of people have the virus and are sick.
All Trump can do is criticize Fauci who even predicted this and give wrong information (99% of the cases are harmless).
So i guess most who have the IQ of a bread, would be better a president than him.

Yes... bars and clubbing is a problem as well as riots.
Bars and clubs here require all people to give their phone numbers and email adresses to trace contacts. Many gave fake adresses and there were some superspreaders. So bars and clubs now have to test the correct information. Many have to close down again.

Sadly... hospitals ARE overflowing now in the US.
And herd immunity doesn't work, as the way Sweden is going shows. The sweds can't travel openly in Europe, because of the way they are going.
In Switzerland we didn't have a strict lockdown. But we managed to lower the infections that contact tracing is possible.
Europe is also widely testing, not only the risk groups.
Here in Switzerland the government showed real leadership, listened to science and showed empathy with the people.

The sars cov 2 virus doesn't care if someone is left or right, rich or poor, famous or not.
But how a government is reacting to it, shows if it's a good government or not. Did the US government and the Brasil government handle it well or did they fail completely? Trump and Bolsonaro.
