actualy i have heard and believe in a different theory. the fact that the are free masons may not be true but i do believe they are part of a much more secret spawn of fremasonry called the illuminatie. look it up. you won't find much as it is a secret society. but you can find some info. there is a book called the armagedon cult by danial hall. this book adresses that theorie. (excuse my spelling)

THERE is a difference—a big difference—between education and propaganda. Education shows you how to think. Propaganda tells you what to think. Good educators present all sides of an issue and encourage discussion. Propagandists relentlessly force you to hear their view and discourage discussion. Often their real motives are not apparent. They sift the facts, exploiting the useful ones and concealing the others. They also distort and twist facts, specializing in lies and half-truths. Your emotions, not your logical thinking abilities, are their target. Yea that is what i said above in differnt words pardon my redundency.

The propagandist makes sure that his message appears to be the right and moral one and that it gives you a sense of importance and belonging if you follow it. Wow sense of importance (well if you allow your kid do die because of no blood transfusions god will be happy and you will have a better chance of making it into the "New system(where we will all act alike (eating vedgies, plowing gardens, teaching millions of raised dead people, then finding spare time to pet all the animals)" and your brothers and sisters will lbe with you and help you along. Am i sensing "appears to be the right and moral one and that it gives you a sense of importance and belonging if you follow it"

How can you protect yourself from the types of people that the Bible calls "profitless talkers" and "deceivers of the mind"? (Titus 1:10) Run! far away from the 12 rich men at the top counting your hours of atempted conversion time.

Be selective: A completely open mind could be likened to a pipe that lets just anything flow through it—even sewage. translation "LISTEN TO NO ONE BUT US, HAIL HITLER!

So we need to be selective. We need to scrutinize whatever is presented to us, deciding what to accept and what to reject. Huh when I decided what to reject and what not to they called it being weak. When I voiced a rejection they called it apostacy.

(It does get new light and change prophecy)

Using discernment, we will be able to recognize those who are merely using "smooth talk and complimentary speech" in order to "seduce the hearts of guileless ones." (Romans 16:18) Discernment enables you to discard irrelevant information or misleading facts and distinguish the substance of a matter. Discernment (noun) DIS-RN-MENT (Obveously not used by Jehovah's witnesses)

Put information to the test: "Beloved ones," said John, a first-century Christian teacher, "do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions." (1 John 4:1) Again when i did that they called it lack of faith

Do not just follow the crowd: If you realize that what everybody thinks is not necessarily correct, you can find the strength to think differently. I did this just caused problems.

Some opponents of Jehovah's Witnesses have accused them of spreading Zionist propaganda. Others have charged that the ministry of the Witnesses promotes Communism. Still others have claimed that the work of Jehovah's Witnesses promotes the ideals and interests of "American imperialism." And there are those who assert that the Witnesses are anarchists, fomenting disorder with the aim of changing the social, economic, political, or legal order. Obviously, these conflicting accusations cannot all be true. Not all maby not but some are we are not perfect nor do we claim to be prophets (cough bull-$h#t)

The simple fact is that Jehovah's Witnesses are none of the above. The work of the Witnesses is carried out in faithful obedience to Jesus Christ's mandate to his disciples: "You will be witnesses of me . . . to the most distant part of the earth." (Acts 1:8) Their work focuses solely and exclusively on the good news of the heavenly Kingdom—God's instrument for bringing peace to the whole earth.—Matthew 6:10; 24:14. with the exception of the false prophesy and changing of words in the bible (strictly forbidon by revolation) In other words (WARNING WILL ROBINSON DANGER DANGER!!!!! PROPAGANDA ALERT)

Jehovah's Witnesses teach the rightness of submission to authority. As law-abiding citizens, they follow Bible standards of honesty, truthfulness, and cleanliness. They build good morals into their own families, and they help others to learn how they can do the same. They live peaceably with all men, not getting involved in disruptive demonstrations or political revolutions. Jehovah's Witnesses seek to be exemplary in obeying the laws of the human superior authorities, while they wait patiently on the Supreme Authority, the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, to restore perfect peace and righteous government to this earth.

At the same time, the work of the Witnesses is educational. Using the Bible as a basis, they teach people worldwide to reason on Bible principles and thereby develop right standards of conduct and moral integrity. They promote values that improve family life and help young people cope with their peculiar challenges. They also help people to find the strength to overcome bad habits and to develop the ability to get along with others. Such a work would hardly be termed "propaganda." As The World Book Encyclopedia says, in a climate where ideas circulate freely, "propaganda differs from education." OK I'll give the morals but their behavior is not what the problem is nor does it have anyhting to do with propaganda. translation: These facts are beside the point we have put these last paragraphs in to make us look good so that we sound right and good in order that you do not in reality question us but question everyone else automaticly. the work of the Witnesses is educational. yea so was the work os the german scientists who experamented on jews. (that doesn't mean it was right) They also help people to find the strength to overcome bad habits and refuse perfectly ok blood transfusions They promote values that improve family life reject even your own family if they are dissfellowshiped. (good values)

will the JW read this

the jw's have been back at my door a couple of times since my first post.. she gave me watchtowers and showed me books and literature from the jw cd, i said i would give her something to read when she came back.

she returned today with more medical stuff printed from her cd, so i gave her the stuff i got through the internet (thankfully alot of it was pages i found through this forum).

this is how the conversation went.. jw: afternoon.

she may read it I wouldn't have when i was one. It took somone very close to me and in the borg (my mother) to point out illogical things i slowley came to realize it was not the truth (several months later) so she may peak or she may dis regard it and try to persuade you to take borg literature. I'm going with the small peak then try to assimalate.

What urged YOU to join the cult?

i am just curious now...i was wondering, if you are not born into the jw organization, why did you join in?

what was it that interested you most?

why did you accept to study the bible?

I personaly was born in it. raised in it for 17 years and i am now 18 i have left for a year. My mother did come into it right before i was born. The reason is is because my dad was raised in it but left and right when i was about to be born My mom was talking about taking me to church. My father said the onley church he would step foot in would be a JW kingdom hall. My mother said he was crazy. My father proceded to witness to her and when one day witnesses came to their door she accepted a bible study just to prove it wrong. As you know the way they brain wash goes like this. They first call and tell you they are bible students etc.. when they have a study they ofcourse don't study the bible. They study a book. Now most books used for study are very cautious at the begining. they say little small stuff(beliefes) then they support them with some facts. After they have proved a couple of points to you unintentionaly your mind doesn't have as much of a wall so you believe more and more because subcauntiously(I know thats not how you spell it) you think since they where right on the other stuff they must be right on this. Eventualy you get to the point where you just believe what ever the society says. That is basicly what happend to my mother she couldn't prove them wrong. So after a while she was more apt to believe what they say.

the happy part of the story is she brought the whole family in and she also is the reason my family is not part of the borg anymore. You may know her she is (LV4FER).

Paradise Earth

i'm new here (not a baptized jw) and was just wondering about those in here who are against the jws.

does it mean you no longer wish to live in the kingdom that jesus christ preached about -- the paradise earth conditions before adam and eve sinned?.

... does it mean you all now believe what christendom teaches about the future -- heaven & hell?

consider this the society did not allow any type of blood trasnfusion till now.

Lets look at the blood issue

Lets look at a quote from their own Watchtower:

w90 6/1 p. 31 Questions From Readers: ***A pregnant woman has an active mechanism by which some immune globulin moves from the mother's blood to the fetus'. Because this natural movement of antibodies into the fetus occurs in all pregnancies, babies are born with a degree of normal protective immunity to certain infections.

It is similar with albumin, which doctors may prescribe as a treatment for shock or certain other conditions. Researchers have proved that albumin from the plasma is also transported, though less efficiently, across the placenta from a mother into her fetus.

That some protein fractions from the plasma do move naturally into the blood system of another individual (the fetus) may be another consideration when a Christian is deciding whether he will accept immune globulin, albumin, or similar injections of plasma fractions. One person may feel that he in good conscience can; another may conclude that he cannot. Each must resolve the matter personally before God.

Now this says if your conscience allows you can accept blood fractions. The Watchtower's reasoning goes like this: Since medical researchers have proven that certain blood fractions naturally cross over from the mother to her fetus, it is ok to accept these fractions. Again, as long as these fractions naturally move from one individual to another, it is between God and yourself as to whether or not you will accept these fractions

Now this says witnesses can take fractions what good does this do them

blood fractions are used to make clotting agents snake bit antivenins imunization agents etc...

now consider you have a daughter and playing one day gets bit by a snake. It is a real bad bite you take her to the hospital. They say they have to give her an antivenin but it has blood fractions in it. before you would have to say no.(and except the death of your child) Now imagine your little girl laying on the hospital bed crying because the bite area is swollen and turning black. You wish nothing in the world more then to help her you look into her tear staind eyes and her expression is one as if saying help me mommy\daddy, you always have before. The doctor says once more that if she does not have the antivenin she will die. once again you say no. You are left alone holding your scared daughter. You tell her you love her and not to worry. As she tells you she loves you back her eyes close and she falls asleep(dead).

one year later you pick up a watchtower and read then JW's accept blood fractions curious as to what those are you look it up. as you are reading the information you get sick to your stomach as your eyes fall on the words used in snake bite antivenins. (the image of your daughters eyes rolling into her head as she gasped for a last breath before she died goeas through your head) As reality sets in you relise if you had known then. your daughter would still be alive. you would be taking her to kindagarden. playing in the park. you think of everything you missed. school, parties, sleepovers. but you get none of it. because god even though he knew the information decide not to tell the organization till after 50,000 children including yours died because of ignorace.

could this be true could god purposley hold back informaion from his chosen people allowing countless thousands of people die in his name. that would mean he is guilty of killing the inocent.

Oh but the society got new light. Well does this light let you see your daughter. does it bring back the countless thousands of others?

of course not acording to the society oh well guess we made a mistake time to move on.

BULLCRAP IF GOD SUPPORTS A GROUP OF PEOPLE LIKE THAT THEN I WANT NO PART OF HIM.

but god doesn't that is why i have part with god as a christian and not as a nonfreethinking individual supporting a group of religious murderes who are no better than the catholics

(so you see god could not possibly be backing the wtbts and still sleep at night therefore it is not the truth)
