it seems that in my neck of the woods there is no social interaction between jws outisde of fs and the kh.
the last get together was 3 summers ago.

Last invite we received was for a picnic on Easter Sunday several years ago and when we mentioned that to the elderette pioneer organizing the festivities, she said "well if it bothers you, that's ok...". She henceforth shunned us and we were excluded from all further Congo extra-curricular events after that.

i was listening to a conversation of jws recently about how trusting they are with each other and how out in "the world" you have to be ever so careful that you don't put down your purse or wallet for a minute otherwise it will be stolen.. i entered the conversation with an experience that one of my close friends had.
(true story) he was in a public place with a wallet with significant amount of cash and bank card, credit card, id, etc.. somehow he lost or misplaced the wallet, panicked of course.
he went to the police, cancelled all his cards and thought it was gone for sure.
That's the same mind that will hear the details of a heinous crime (child sexual molestation) prepetrated by a JW elder and exclaim, "it couldn't have happened, he's a brother".
